Where is the zero star button? This is beyond awful. Filthy, no blankets, LOUD beyond words, they do not clean our room, given 2 towels every other day and if you get any dirt makeup etc on them get ready to hand over 300 pesos for a towel that’s worth about 2$. This has been truly the worst hotel I have ever experienced in my whole life. Such incredible horrible customer service.

Way too loud- open air DJ right outside my window/balcony. Have to close all the windows/doors, so can't even have ocean breezes. DJ started about 3pm and last night was still blasting away at 2.30am.....nothing nice or serene about it. It would be fine if it was a Mexican band.

The location and view on the penthouse floor was truly amazing but the noise from the club below is loud and goes late. The only other issue my husband had was the $150 pesos they asked for when checking out because we got a towel dirty. I promise you it was not excessive dirt but one shower dirt after the beach. Their excuse was that a younger female was going to have to clean it and they were avoiding sending it out to be cleaned. Sorry my husband flipped out but it was the most ridiculous thing I have heard of in my 60 years of travel.

WE had a terrible experience at the hotel. The staff was unprofessional and not helpful. The room I was given was not as described, there was no balcony, no refrigerator, and the air conditioner was old. When I asked to upgrade my room, the cleaning lady named Marisa charged me an extra $140. Later she came back to tell me that it was a mistake and the room was already booked to someone else, which was not true because the room was not occupied during my stay. I asked for a FULL 2 night stay refund from Booking, to change hotels but was refused. I also asked for a cooler to store my drinks, but I was told to use the one in the lobby or buy my own cooler and ice, which the lobby fridge was not working had ice build-up and old food in the freezer. The music from downstairs was played super loud 24/7, which made it impossible to sleep. I am extremely disappointed with the hotel and Booking. BTW don't you dare stain a bath towel you will be charged for it, keep in mind you get a change of towel every other day.

Everything about this hotel is wonderful except for the noise. Even with earplugs, the music from downstairs is exceedingly loud. I honestly thought there was a mariachi band in the hallway at 5 am. I have several more nights here, prepaid, and am genuinely considering leaving. So unfortunate because it’s a great hotel

"Stayed at this hotel recently. Impressed by the cleanliness and fantastic service from the Señora Erica. However, noise was a significant issue. If you're a light sleeper, you might want to consider that. Overall, a decent experience."

We booked the "Penthouse". The penthouse is NOT private. The staff laundry and the other "Penthouse" suite are separated by thin doors with light and noise all night. It took us an hour to find anyone to even check in the first night after a day of travel. The "private deck", is actually a common area for staff, and guests to peak into your room. Some staff will allow you to invite friends over, and some will NOT. We found that out, when our friends came over to change and use our bathroom at 1pm. They were escorted out by the rude front desk lady. It felt like they rules they made up daily. The large patio is off limits to everyone after 10:30pm, except the night watch who is a creepy man who always tries to glance in your room. After 10:30pm you are told to stay within a meter of your patio door, and they have cameras to make sure. For your kitchen, you get two glasses, and a small bowl for cooking. 50% of the lights work, with some exposed wiring For the beds, you get 1 paper thin sheet each. When we asked for two thicker blankets, they said they could only find one, which was for a twin size bed. The patio curtains looked like they had blood splatter on them. The view was epic. The housekeeping staff were the only accommodating and friendly people on site.

You will be "sleeping" on top of a loud bar and next to open air nightclub. None of what is mentioned to you during the booking process. Then the music stops 2 am you can take part of all the conversations on the street as the building has no sound isolation at all. Only stay here if you plan to stay awake all night every day of your stay.

We rented the “penthouse” for a week stay. While the location is amazing, that’s about all this place has going for it. The room we booked was suppose To have a full kitchen, but besides a fridge and stove, we had 2 mason jars for cups and 1 bowl. Bedding is limited, and had to ask for extra blankets, and was able to be given 1 extra. we had to purchase a blanket at a vendor. The large, beautiful patio seen in the photos is a common area, available for all guests to use, but our room was located upstairs, so no privacy at all. halfway through our stay, we were told we were not allowed visitors at all as per hotel policy, which we were never made aware of. Still unable to find any information on hotel guests having visitors. The day staff can speak English well, but if your checking in anytime after 6, be prepared to use a translator if your Spanish is weak, as she spoke no English. We had to wait an hour before anyone arrived to check us in initially, which after a 8 hour trip, waiting another hour just to be let into a room was not a great start. House keeping was great, and the location is top notch, but the price per night is not a great reflection on the services or amenities stated. We were told breakfast was included in our stay, but the restaurant is 2 blocks from the hotel, and was finally told that on our last day. On arrival, we were told to go to patio A1 for breakfast…..
