Stayed in this hotel in November for a sea side trip, mainly to visit Bridlington and Scarborough. First of, if you have the extra money to spend in the south bay one I would recommend it as it is much nearer to the beach and attractions. As for the premmier inn we stayed at, it was your typical premier inn with friendly staff, good facilities and clean rooms. There are only four things that went wrong: 1. The bath tap unit, when on the shower setting, sprayed water out of the pipe, we did manage to block the water from going on the floor with the shower curtain, but it still made a mess. 2. When we asked for another bath towel from reception, it was covered in black/brown stains. 3 The restaurant was closed due to inadequate staffing. This didn’t bother us however as we went to the independent pub next to it which served nicer food in my opinion. That does lead me on to my fourth which was that there didn’t seem to be enough staff around. They were constantly running between the bar and reception. Bar the negatives, this was a really affordable and comfortable place to stay for 2 nights. I would definitely recommend as most of our issues were one time things.

Nice and clean room with a comfy bed. Wi-Fi a bit sluggish at times. Should be premier plus rooms and you shouldn’t have to pay for parking. Would love to have have opening windows and shower curtain needs to be longer and bigger to stop water pooling.

Fab stay fantastic staff who really did their level best to give us a great experience… oh and a great breakfast. Room clean bed very comfortable so slept well. Overall very impressed. Some confusion I felt in parking pre arrival but turned out to be free at the time of our stay.

Enjoyable stay with the family during February half term with the kids for 3 nights, no complaints at all for the price. Ate at the on site restaurant for 2 nights and the service was great, no problems at all. Room was fine with a view of Scarborough Castle. The parking was free too which was great; this wasn't expected as it wasn't free when we visited in February last year (2024). One thing to note (and appreciate it's a council issue, not the fault of Premier Inn) but the RingGo app would happily have taken my money for parking (I nearly just paid as normal when we arrived) if I'd not checked the physical machines to confirm it was free.

Booked two family rooms and stayed 1 night with our 4 girls and my Mum and Dad. The rooms were lovely and spacious and clean when we arrived. The pull out beds were ok but the girls said they were not the comfiest. Plenty of fresh towels available and toiletries if needed. Well stocked coffee and tea. Hairdryer available and air con or heating if required. Self check in from 3pm or via the reception desk. We enjoyed the Premier Inn breakfast and also the location was ideal for the girls to enjoy Alpamare Waterpark as it was literally across the carpark. Parking was free as we went in February which was out of season so another bonus. We managed to preplan and got discounted tickets for Alpamare via Planet Offers. We also got discounted tickets for afternoon tea at The Grand Hotel Scarborough which was amazing value and we would all highly recommend a visit ( hotel is dated but still very beautiful architecture and design) Staff there were lovely too. We also got discounted tickets for Marine Discovery Centre at Whitby. It is only small but the staff are amazing and we all really enjoyed it.

An excellent hotel! We stayed for a couple of nights and had a really enjoyable stay. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the room was spotless, comfortable and of a good size; breakfast was well above average and again the staff were very attentive and helpful. The location was also very convenient for the beaches, parks, castle and the town centre ( all a short drive away unless feeling energetic), and there was plenty of parking (currently free as it is out of season). Will certainly stay again, even though the room keys were temperamental!!!

Great hotel. Brilliant location with a footpath in the car park down to the beach. Walking distance to peasolm park and next to the water park. Free parking off season and big car park. The hotel looked and felt new and clean and all the facilities were in working order. The bedroom was clean and bed comfortable. All staff were polite and friendly. Breakfast was hot and fresh and one of the best premier breakfasts ive had. Only negs were walls were thin so next doors snoring was very loud and kept up awake and woken and 5.30 from the noisy floor in the room above.

It's my second stay at this Premier Inn and again it didn't disappoint. Everything was as it should be. Staff were friendly and helpful with nothing being too much trouble. Breakfast was lovely and plenty of choice. Breakfast area was clean and uncluttered and staff on hand to replenish the food. Fab stay 😊 and just what I needed
