Brilliant value for money as always Scarborough was really nice as was our trip to whitby where we saw a replica of captain cooks ship the endeavor and Bridlington with a very nice town and shopping centre top class entertainment 3 nites half price bar and good food keep doing what your doing daishes looking forward to next trip

Friendly staff dated rooms. furniture poor in bedroom wooden headboard polished that must your hair was matted in the morning. Damp stained wall carpets dated. Tuesday night act was good rest was okayish. If you are disabled mobility scooters are not allowed at the hotel. Unless they are left outside overnight.

This is a good value hotel. Ok, it's not the Ritz, but it is a perfectly good clean hotel with friendly staff with a great location overlooking the harbour. All our meals were hot & served promptly. Our 3rd visit & we will return again next year. Recommended.

Just left The Esplanade after being before but this visit was exceptional. Room over looking the bay with a balcony. Thank you to the lovely Debbie who left some Halloween chocolates on our table for my daughter and our waitress Hayley. Food was of a very good standard. Thank you all

The Esplanade is situated in an elevated position giving spectacular views from its public rooms and a lot of the bedrooms. Our room was on the first floor. It was very spacious with views over the bay. The balcony was a lovely bonus. The Esplanade is always very warm and cosy, food in the Landau restaurant is good, served piping hot by hard working and very efficient staff who always make you very welcome and remember repeat guests. There is entertainment every night, usually singers and two games of bingo. Daish offer excellent value for money. We go self drive as sadly they don't pick up in York ( wish they did). Refurbishment is ongoing so some rooms may need work doing but the hotel is clean, warm and very friendly with good food, lovely staff and views to die for. What more do you want out of a holiday?

Good food very welcome Hotel & Staff. Comfortable bedroom. Excellent cliff top position great views. Very steep hill to front but two cliff lifts help make things a little easier Entertainment varies but good in general. Would recommend this hotel for comfortable feeling.

We just had 5 Days at the Esplanade hotel,with DAISH HOLIDAYS, had an excellent sea view room , Great staff, great service, Good Gluten Free food , excellent evening enteertainment, ,2 games of Bingo each evenings, great outdoor patio ,for good weather, will be going back soon !
