"Sadly had three rooms due to some issues reguardless how clean they were and a smell coming from the bathroom, third room was ok and had a nice view over looking the sea and Scarborough harbour, pool and spa a nice touch and the staff were all friendly plenty of choice on the menu for food, just needs to address a few issues to make this worthy of it's 4 star rating and that to me should be considered luxury where as this felt more just above average but not luxury 3.5 / 5 location amazing staff amazing let down by the fire alarm going off which steam was to blame air vents were dirty this needs looking at, house keeping need to work more alongside maintenance to ensure issues are addressed. Safe in second room was broken but maintenance did sort this and were very friendly, reception and spa staff all excellent, can't comment on the food but had plenty of choice and had we not made plans we would of considered the curry night the hotel had on. Over all 3.5 / 5"

"I Booked the 2 bed suite for 3 of us cousins for a get together. Absolutely beautiful. Everything was spotless, both bedrooms have en suites, tea, coffee sugar and milk provided. Downstairs in the pub/ restaurant, we had food and drinks which was lovely. We have already decided to rebook for October"
"The environment looks average. The room is indeed relatively small for Chinese people. It is not suitable for two people to live together. At the beginning of the hotel reservation, there was no prompt to choose a room. In the end, I was allocated a room with a very bad view. I think it is in the UK. It is said that the price is good, but if you want to live in a more luxurious hotel, you should pay more"

Amazing
GGuest UserExcellent host, this ideally located comfortable accomodation all contributed to a great nights sleep, includeda full English breakfast, what more can you ask for? Thoroughly enjoyed my stay here while visiting Bridlington,Filey and the RSPB Bempton site where i was delighted to see the nesting Puffins.
Easy access to Scarborough, and Whitby too .
LLclimHad a fab stay at Mansion house which is right across the esplanade . The beds are comfortable and toilet is clean and sparkly. Breakfast is well presented and full English breakfast is served elegantly. Will definitely stay again whenever I visit Scarborough
GGuest UserWe had the most wonderful experience at Harcourt Place, the apartment had an amazing view to the beach. The hostess and Sharon were so helpful during our stay and made us feel so welcomed.
10/10 would recommend this place for your stay in Scarborough.
NnigelFirst the positives.
The room was very clean, comfortable and bathroom was obviously recently refurbished.
Breakfast was excellent and good value, but more on that later.
Now the not so good, or could do better!
The check in policy is ludicrous, I understand they need to have a designated check in time, but whilst waiting (40 minutes) I overheard the staff clearly stating that all rooms were ready for guests, but as people were entering the reception they were informed that check was not possible until 3pm and they had to wait or pay £10.00 for an early check in!
The result was a packed reception and when they did commence check in, due to a “new system “ it was painfully slow! Very poor customer service.
The breakfast was good value, but the attitude of the cashier guy was poor at best, probably rude if to be defined. On approaching him I was asked “ breakfast for two “ to which I replied “ no there’s only one” to which he snapped “ well I’m not to know that!”
Not expected and yes rude!
OOldy87We stayed in Room18. Landlady was very helpful, polite and let my kids play on the pool table. Abit of a pain with the parking but allowed me to use their personal car space which was very kind, even offered to pay for my parking ticket to start with. Hallways are warm and well lit. I would stay here again. Thank you
GGuest UserGood sized double room and bathroom.
Generally all was as expected, and although housekeeping did not come in to refresh supplies, I could easily obtain more teabags etc in the reception area.
I was surprised there was no bath mat, thus the bathroom floor became quite wet unnecessarily.
The staff were all very friendly and welcoming and I would recommend this hotel for it’s location.
