A good hotel, in a town I would never have expected it. Clean and spacious rooms, overall quite despite being at the town square (our room at least). Addition to that, employees friendly and helpfull. We booked a combination with restaurant De Ooievaar for an overall fair rate. The restaurant is really good, the 5 course surprise menu is highly recommended! We will return, a place to remember!

Great hotel but could be fantastic with a few changes. We had a big room which felt like something between a hotel room and an apartment - but it was ‚between‘. One could cook a full meal in the small kitchen but it was in the same room as a great bathtub. One was in a hotel but could not make a coffee or tea in room but had a fridge for ‚4 people‘…..some things really well designed (eg bathtub in room) but at the same time Tork paper towel holders and varied things loose, eg clothes hangers on wall, water tap. All in all a bit ‚between‘. Party downstairs was not a big problem for us but did wake us up a few times in the night. Breakfast ok but with just a bit more ‚touch‘, it could have been great.

Very good, modern hotel, probably recently renovated. Free wifi, and free parking within walking distance of the hotel. Our room was spatious and had everything ones needs. Good bed. Good breakfast. Hotel is nicely located at market Square of Schagen with plenty of restaurants nearby. Really loved the place.

Beautiful building with a beautiful location for a well-organized breakfast and dinner. You must order an omelet separately. You can also have a party there. Central location near the market square. Nice rooms, air conditioning does not work well. Too hot or too cold and a lot of noise. Fridge in the room. Beds not great. The topper keeps slipping off. You have to love a surprise menu

Hotel in a great location, right in the center of Schagen. Very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was fine. Unfortunately we were in a room (received through an upgrade?), directly above the main entrance, where we had a lot of trouble at night from Spanish migrants returning from work and staying in the hotel. It's a pity that we have not received any response from the manager about this.
