We were guests of the hotel on the last opening weekend before the winter closure. The cuisine is very good, both for dinner and for the breakfast buffet. The gem is the relaxation area overlooking the valley, including the massage rooms with panoramic windows.

Impeccable structure in every service. Staff at reception available to fulfill every request. In the restaurant, kindness, courtesy and respect for the customer comes first. Equipped spa, snack with excellent desserts and breathtaking views from the terrace and rooms. The cuisine is excellent. Finally a hotel that exceeded my expectations. I didn't find a single flaw. I will be back very soon.

It's the second time we've returned, and based on our experience the hotel is worth it! The wellness area is original and perhaps unobtainable in its characteristic Alpine style. (it's not modern...but that's why I liked it). The food is very good, the staff are professional and friendly. Excellent dinner, good breakfast, very varied afternoon snack, both savory and sweet. Our room is in Tyrolean style, and I was really looking for a hotel that didn't have cold furnishings. My balcony overlooks the valley and the view is wonderful. spacious bedroom and bathroom. I have read negative reviews: you need to inform yourself before leaving... the saunas in South Tyrol are for nudists and not for children.

The hotel presents itself very well, has many services and is quite well looked after. The outdoor swimming pool is freezing and unusable. Everyone uses the internal one which is therefore noisy and dirty. Given the influx of Germans, they should separate the sauna areas dressed and in costume. Especially because there are children. Our room was really nice with a living and sleeping area, with a balcony to see the stars. Too bad for the neighbors. On the right an elderly gentleman who slept with the window open and snored loudly every night. On the other side a couple, who argued very heatedly on the terrace every evening. Several guests asked for silence but were ignored. Finally, the bell tower! From 6 am for every 15 minutes, the bells will ring. If you want to take a holiday to rest and sleep a little more, this is not the hotel for you. Finally, breakfast, sweet and savory, or rather… savory and with 2 burnt miniature croissants. **** After an excursion we returned to our rooms around 4.30pm to rest. I woke up to a strange noise: there was a waiter in my room. He wasn't able to explain to me what he was doing in Italian and left. Are we sure about the 4 star superior? A beautiful view and a spa are not enough!More

3 days to get away from the city routine. Excellent hotel, good location for walking. Wonderful panorama if over the valley. We were happy overall but the dinner part was disappointing. From a 4 star we expected a different menu. The initial buffet.. leaves something to be desired.. and given how regional culinary specialties are sponsored, I would suggest including some typical first courses and homemade desserts in the menu.. breakfast should also be offered with some desserts, some cakes or the typical strudel.. cuisine disappointing. The spa they offer would be 5 stars if it were more well looked after... the somewhat isolated location is lovely. In addition to the kitchen, I would suggest more staff at the reception. In conclusion.. if they enhanced the kitchen and services more.. it would definitely have 4 full stars.. beautiful large rooms but there is no bidet and I would remove the carpet which, although clean.. needs to be removed on a hygienic level.

The staff is very nice and accommodating. The beauty massage was very relaxing and highly recommended. The breakfast buffet was unfortunately a little limited in choice. The view from the room on the 2nd floor is very nice.

We have been enthusiastic hiking fans for many years and chose the Verdinser Hof because of the great location and the wellness offer that is highly praised on the website. The location is unique - the rest disappointed us. The sauna area in the sauna village is unkempt, in need of renovation and populated by spiders. The loungers in the sun terrace area are rare and are "reserved" by guests with towels. The breakfast was mediocre and without much choice. The location and the friendly cleaning staff were positive. Conclusion: unfortunately very disappointing and you shouldn't be misled by the pictures on the website.

We have stayed at this hotel 6 times now and can highly recommend it. The service is excellent, the food superb. There is something for every taste. Special requests are taken into account. The rooms on the Merano side have a fantastic view and are recommended. The rooms are modern and there is enough space. The spa area is large and there is something for everyone. The sun terrace is wonderful and you can end the day there in a pleasant way. Maria at the reception fulfills every wish, the pearl of the hotel. One star is only deducted because the outdoor pool is not heated and there are not enough parasols. This hotel is worth a trip.
