We absolutely loved our stay here! We mentioned it was our wedding anniversary and they decorated our table at dinner, very sweet. Our room was lovely and very clean and updated. The restaurant was very good and breakfast offerings were very good as well. Convenient location to many hikes in the area and an idyllic spot right on the water. Free, close parking. Walkable to all the main shops and restaurants in the area and a short drive to Berchtesgaden. Would definitely stay here again!

This hotel had a stunning location close to Konigsee. The interior is warm and welcoming and the rooms were exceptionally comfortable. The breakfast was very nice. The only room for improvement would be to have staff available at the front desk more often but it was never an issue for us. Overall a great experience.

We stood for three days and we loved it there. The service we received was absolutely great. The rooms were clean and the beds comfy. It is directly located on the Koenigssee where the boats leave. It can't be better than that. For Breakfast there is a buffet where you can find eggs and sausage, muesli, coldcuts and marmalade with a variety of bred. We had our dinners there as well, because of the nice weather we could sit in their beergarden enjoying the view over the Koenigssee and having great food. We will be back!

The reception at the hotel was very friendly and the location, right on the Königssee, really can't be topped. Unfortunately we were unlucky and were given a very small room with a balcony to the side, facing a building that is being demolished, and a window that looked out onto the hotel's car park and the run-down, demolished casino. We tried to change rooms, even paying an extra fee. As we wanted to stay from Sunday to Friday, we were unable to be offered any alternatives. The breakfast buffet was well stocked and the service staff, including in the evening in the restaurant/beer garden, were very friendly and always helpful. As we were there at a time when it was extremely hot, even at night, we asked a lady from housekeeping whether she might have lighter blankets for us. Thankfully it worked and we were able to sleep reasonably well the following nights. Overall, we had a good time at the Hotel Königssee.

Once again I had a really great week in the hotel. Everything was just right. Cleanliness, service, price. The entire staff, from the cleaners to the boss couple, is great. I'm really looking forward to the next time. A great beer garden, wonderful for ending the evening and relaxing. After fifty years in the Berchtesgadener Land, this hotel is highly recommended. You can tell from the staff that everything is just right here.

Because we were in the area we decided last minute to stay here. There was only one room with a view of the lake left. A bit pricey for our budget but it was more than worth the money! What a view! Priceless. These were the most beautiful days of our holiday. We will definitely come back to stay longer in this hotel. The staff was super friendly with us, everything was spotless and a not so extensive but delicious breakfast with good products. Recommended!
