This is a top quality hotel. I stayed here in October which was off season and got a great rate. I assume during peak season it is more expensive. Room was amazing, breakfast was wonderful and the spa with a pool and sauna was fantastic. Seefeld is a great town for hiking and outdoor stuff. I would recommend both the town and this hotel.

From the moment we arrived (11.30 pm Sunday evening - thank you for wating up for us!) and received a very friendly welcome - we knew we would enjoy our 4 day stay here. All the staff were very friendly, helpful as well as delivering efficient service. Several enquiries at the front desk were really useful in making a success of our time - information about free bus pass, where to hike and explore, and borrowing a phone charger - all no problem despite our very poor German. Great breakfast buffet - wide choice and again you could ask for items cooked as required. Very busy, but enough staff to keep on top of things. Our room was large enough and comfortable enough - two different aspect balconies to enjoy the sunshine and views was a bonus. We enjoyed afternoons in the pool outside, and also relaxing in the sauna area. The only slight issue was the number of people who didn't respect the requirement to remove swimming costumes - making those of us who were using the steam room and showers naked feel awkward. Seefeld and the area was delightful = plenty of places to eat and drink in the evenings. Das Hotel Eden helped us feel at ease in Austria and a great part of our holiday.

The swimming pool and garden sauna are very nice, although the internal section of the swimming pool is too small to swim in. Although the hotel is rated as '4 Star Superior' and will have the facilities to meet this criteria I was disappointed with the restaurant. Although the standard of the food provided was good, I was disappointed that only the main course was served at the table, with the other courses being 'self service'. This is not what I expected, having stayed at other 4 Star Superior hotels in other parts of Austria. Also many of the tables in the restaurant were quite close together, and quite far from the buffet area, making private conversation at the table virtually impossible and movement to and from the buffet area difficult.

Great location in the small town of Seefeld, which is an easy walk from restaurants and shops. Lots of choice for breakfast each morning and a lovely outdoor pool which is a nice temperature and has a jacuzzi. The bar area is nice in the evening for playing cards with the family. There are a mix of guests - some families like us, who were there for hiking and sight-seeing whereas others were there for the spa, which we didn’t use. It has plenty of parking and we would definitely use again if staying in the area.

Very nice hotel in Seefeld. Especially for a family visit. Rooms are slightly outdated but they make up for it with other hotel facilities and with how nice all the staff members are. The heated pool is great even in colder weather and parking is free. Breakfast has plenty of options but the coffee could taste better. Would stay here again.

Nice SPA and pool with heatwater, food was OK, delicious dinner with variety of food, but very average breakfast, no fresh juice, dissappointing small room ( standard category), central location, little bit noisy. The price was very hight for offered standard.

Pros: Very friendly helpful staff, great afternoon cakes and coffee, large rooms, clean. centrally located, great heated pool, fish and soup courses at dinner were exceptionally good. Cons: Hotel unfortunately showing signs of age, breakfast multi-choice buffet OK but not great. We thought dinner exceptionally poor value for money. After over 40 years visiting many Tyrolean resort hotels we expected traditional Austrian fare (simple breakfasts, hearty evening meals etc). But evening meals here were many courses comprising very small portions of (mainly unrecognised) "gourmet" food with only two choices of mains and soups, these being offered at breakfast on a tick-off sheet. The buffet salad availability was the same every night and showed little imagination. The "Gala" night we considered particularly bad served on a "take it or leave it" no choice basis. Having said the above perhaps we were in error in not recognising from the website that the emphasis at the Eden is very much on "gourmet" and "wellness". But more clarity re the half-board meal option would have meant that we were not so disappointed in what is otherwise a well run clean hotel.

Great hotel with fantastic staff and superb food. High staff retention as many were still there from last visit 7 years ago. Wonderful views and close to town centre. Was in Seefeld for the Casinos Austria Poker Tour and will once again return to this hotel next time I am in Seefeld
