The Parkhotel Bilm im Glück is the perfect hotel for a relaxing and/or romantic weekend getaway. The staff were friendly and tried to make our stay as pleasant as possible. The wellness area is very well equipped, clean and inviting. As were our rooms. The surprise menu was recommended and we were so impressed by the quality of our food that we had another surprise the next day. The chef knows his business and wants to please his guests. We recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to visit the Hanover area and still wants a relaxing stay.

A splendid marriage and refined cuisine, thanks to the chef and his team. Very pleasant rooms and attentive staff. The stay seemed short, we were able to enjoy the swimming pool and sauna. we will come back for other occasions. Thanks again to the whole team.

We had booked a room with a balcony for two nights. Unfortunately, we were a little disappointed! The room was relatively small, with an open wardrobe, a very small wall-mounted TV and a bathtub in the bathroom with no handles for safe entry and exit. Dinner was OK, but the breakfast buffet was rather poor. One type of sliced cheese, little choice of sausage, no salads and on the second day there was no bread either. We had imagined it to be much better. The staff were very friendly, though.

Bei der online-Buchung wurde nicht darauf hingewiesen, dass das Zimmer und das Bad über Dachschrägen verfügen. Als über 1,85 m großer Reisender habe ich mich ärgerlicherweise mehrfach am Tag schmerzhaft den Kopf gestoßen. Die Frage nach einem anderen Zimmer wurde mit Hinweis auf zwei(!) Hochzeiten am Samstag und Sonntag verneint. Die jeweiligen Hochzeitsgesellschaften lärmten bis ca. 4 Uhr in der Früh… Wenn ich von diesen Gesellschaften bei der Buchung gewusst hätte, hätte ich niemals gebucht. Die Mitarbeiter sind durchweg freundlich und sehr bemüht. Gleichwohl ist es im Restaurant zu einem weiteren Ärgernis gekommen. Als der bestelle Spargel serviert wurde, stellte sich heraus, dass als Sättigungsbeilage Pellkartoffeln serviert wurden. Mein Einwand, ich hätte eigentlich Salzkartoffeln erwartet, wurde mit dem Hinweis, der Chef mache keine Salzkartoffeln, erwidert. Später erschien der Koch und erklärte, da in der Woche nur zweimal Spargel bestellt werde, könne er keine Salzkartoffeln machen. Ich schlug vor, am nächsten Tag mit drei weiteren Gästen erscheinen und Spargel mit Salzkartoffeln bestellen zu wollen. Er entgegnete, er werde auch dann keine Salzkartoffeln anbieten, weil er sie nicht a la minute machen könne … Kundenservice sieht m. E. anders aus. Wolfgang Hendricks, Gießen
