First time visiting seaventures with a dive group, and enjoyed every bit of it. Food : Great mix of Asian and western cuisine 3 times daily. Plenty of free desserts, and drinks. Do note there is a corkage fee for alcohol brought on board. Beer sold at the bar is reasonably priced, so feel free to get it on the rig itself. Accommodations: Room was adequately spacious for 2 people , with free towels provided daily on request. Hot water was running properly and pressure was good. Air conditioning was strong and noise isolation was good considering that a generator was powering the rig the entire time. Amenities: Recliners are abundant throughout the ship for enjoyment of sunshine. There is a games room with boars games, a billiard table and a ping pong table. There is also a room for streaming services. All equipped with strong air conditioners. A sunroof graces the top deck with recliners and hammocks. Diving: Spectacular in terms of service. I have never visited a dive resort so focused on ensuring guests get the most out of their dive trips on the ship. The dive masters actively monitored weather conditions and adapt the planned guided dives to ensure divers get to enjoy the most wildlife, currents and visibility at each dive interval. We arrived during a pretty wet season, so visibility and currents weren't always the best, but those were out of human control. Shout-out especially to Kiddo, our dive master for the entire trip who made sure our needs, both diving or otherwise, were regularly attended to. Diving locations: - Sipadan Island. Located about 30 mins by speedboat away from the rig. (Up to 1.5 hours if sea conditions are bad) Seasick pills are recommended if you are prone to falling ill. Great wildlife and corals. Barracudas, parrotfish and turtles were our star attractions during our stay. We did not get to dive the more popular sites due to weather conditions, but the ones we went to (Drop off and Barracuda point) were great nonetheless Depending on your purchase package, you will be entitled to several Sipadan Island dives. Take note of the conservation fee for every dive which will be extra on top of the package. Additional dives can be arranged during your stay, but are pretty expensive. (650RM) - Mabul and Kapalai islands These are located closer to the rig and will be the default diving locations once your Sipadan dives are completed. Not as diverse as Sipadan, but the wildlife, corals and wrecks are still worthy experiences on their own. - House reef This is made up of the artificial reefs around the dive rig. I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of wildlife present here, especially in the evenings and nights. Turtles and octopus were abundant during our night dive. You are entitled to unlimited amounts of unguided dives here, as long as you have a buddy to go with and the dive ends before 730pm. (Sun sets around 6pm here, so night dives are recommended and easy to go for) Admin team: I must also call out the
