Komagatake Onsen

The room is older. I was lucky enough to reserve a room with a washroom and bathroom. I don’t have to go out to the shared bathroom. The room is large and the view is very good. It faces the forest and is on the river side. Listening to the sound of the river is very healing. Breakfast and dinner are available. The hotel has a free private bath, but people use it every time. I can only use the large bath. But it turns out that I am the only one using the big bath. It is a private bath in disguise. It is a big surprise. It faces the forest and the river, and it is better than a private bath. It's big and super clean. There will be a special car to take you to Tsurunoyu at 8pm. If you don't have a reservation, you can go to the hot springs at night and check it out. It's really worth it and the price is cheap. Tsurunoyu has mixed bathing for men and women, and boys have to change their clothes. In the room, you can see shadows outside. There is no cover at all when walking out, but the girls are covered up and already immersed in the water when walking along the road. There is no need to worry about others seeing it. It is worthy of praise.

A quiet ryokan(?) located in the forest. Take the Nyuto Onsenkyo bus from Tazawako Station and get off at the designated stop. The shuttle bus will take you there. You can apply at Tazawako Station. The guide is very friendly. They even come out to check if you are getting on the right bus... The ryokan has a communal bath, an open-air bath, and a private bath. Dinner and breakfast are provided, which is much better than the shabby buffet. There is a program where you can enjoy Tsurunoyu Onsen for about an hour after dinner. Round trip by shuttle bus. Very good. I want to go again in the winter.

Near Nyuyu Hot Spring Township, it is quite its own corner. But remember to arrive at the hotel early. Due to inconvenient transportation, I will arrive around 5 o'clock! The bus is almost the last one! I chose a taxi, which cost about 5,000 yen. Get off the bus at a midway stop and call the hotel car for pick-up! Rather inconvenient. But the hotel is early, the dinner is very rich and delicious, and the room is big. The most important thing is that there are 2 outdoor private baths that can be used by guests on a first-come, first-served basis👍

After arriving at Tazawako Jr. Station, take the Nyuto Onsen Line bus and get off at "Recuperation Shishimae" (Shishi is Japanese). After that, you have to go back and turn left and walk uphill for a while. You can also call the hotel and the hotel will send a bus. Pick up at the "rest and relaxation front" bus stop! The hotel facilities are a bit old, but fortunately the rooms are big and the sanitation is pretty good. The hotel has its own hot spring, one outdoor and one indoor for men and women. There are also two private hot springs. There are lights in the corridor to indicate whether the private hot spring is in use. When the light is on, there is someone, and when the light is off, there is no one. The hotel has a car that can take you to Tsurunoyu at 8pm! free! You can soak for about an hour. It’s perfect. It’s totally worth the accommodation fee. Breakfast and dinner are also very rich and delicious. Authentic and simple Japanese country cuisine. at last! The best thing about the hotel is its location. It is located in a pine forest with a stream passing by. You can walk upstream and see the waterfall!

The location of the hotel is relatively remote, but the service attitude is very good. The rooms all have large views and are facing the river. The rooms have bathrooms and toilets so you don’t have to go out. The hotel has a car to take you to Nipple Hot Spring and a free car to the station. The surrounding environment of the hotel is good. Beautiful snow scenery and waterfalls, the whole thing is fine.

It is far away from Tokyo and is a good choice to get away from the hustle and bustle. The room I booked this time was very large, with mountains, snow and streams outside the window. It was very cold on the day we went, and the water in Komagatake Onsen was not very hot. I heard from the employees that the temperature of the hot spring water is not artificially controlled and will fluctuate, depending on the temperature of the water. I travel with people who have sensitive skin and feel that Tsuru no Soup will make their skin sensitive. But I like this thick hot spring very much. In addition, it is recommended to go with someone who can speak Japanese when traveling to such a remote place.
