To be honest, this hotel is pretty good in all aspects. It is very close to the subway entrance. The only embarrassing place is that I went on Saturday and booked a room online. I just asked me to add 30,000 won, otherwise I won’t let me stay.

MMarsha MarshaHello! I stayed in Seongnam (during the Chuseok holiday) for the first time since it was close to Gachon University [where my friend was located]. I arrived from YNJ/Yánjí, China after a week of exploring border cities. Unbeknownst to me, the motel was located in ”Little Yanji”... OMG, it was like I never left that NE Chinese region. This area does have a Chinatown vibe, but I didn't mind since it reminded me of my great time in China (Yanbian, known as the Third Korea).
First and foremost, the front desk was kind enough to let me check in earlier since I arrived before 10:00 (check-in starts at 14:00). The motel was tidy, provided cold beverages/water in the mini-fridge, the bathroom was huge, the room was very clean, and also had a blackout window. There's also a parking garage if you have a vehicle. If you're taking public transportation, Taepyeong Station is around two blocks away to take the metro/subway.
Note: The room I stayed in was 203 and was as pictured... Nothing was misleading with the advertisement.
CCHU YIMy second time here for a week-long stay and things were better than I remembered! Staff proactively helped me with my several luggages and early check in, bath gel and conditioner were of good quality and I was glad to be assigned a room facing the main view of Pangyo ☺️☺️ my first choice for a business trip’s stay as my office is 30 minutes away. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
DDrew LIt’s so hard trying to find a legit hotel and filter out those love motels that are just everywhere in Korea. This place is clean, professional and the service is great. Front desk will help you navigate taxis, airport transfers etc. Actually.. I don’t know if their English is any good… oh and bring or buy your own shampoo/conditioner/body wash. They have their own but it’s pretty bad.
The hotel is super close to a massive department store which sits above the subway. AK plaza.
Valet parking available(valet is pretty standard in Korea and not a luxury service). Rooftop has a cage for practicing your golf swing. Fully fitted out gym not those paltry 2 running machines and 1 dumbbell ones you find in smaller hotels and free to use laundromat. Breakfast is okay and great if you need food early in the morning. Breakfast options nearby are limited to convenience store food and those egg toast things on the street for W5000.
Will stay here again.
GGuest UserI love staying in this style of motel hotel personally whenever I am in Korea. Vine Hotel was definitely one of the best. I never heard my neighbors, they listened to me and helped me extend my stay when I had some issues flying out and never complained when I was coming back late with a car to park. The hotel is also right by the Seongnam subway stop so easy to around with public transportation and there is a GS25 right near by so easy to grab snacks. The only complaint I have is the mini fridge was oddly small and could barely hold anything so for people who stay for linger periods and like to have some drinks and snack, it is a little difficult to store. Otherwise 10 out of 10 for me
GGuest UserThe facilities are top class. The location is inconvenient for reaching Seoul. It requires multiple changes of lines on the subway, subway station is about a 15 minute walk away. The staff are very helpful. But I would stay there again.
GGuest UserWe stayed at the residence side and I must say it is one of the best, if not the best hotel we’ve ever stayed in on all of our travels. Very spacious, clean and NEW!!!
All the staff members were very attentive, especially the manager for the WiFi support was courteous and responsive. I would highly recommend this hotel for quality, service and value for the money. Having the 24-hr CU (mini mart) in the 1st floor of the hotel was very convenient.
Special shout out to our housekeeping staff, who went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable.
Just few minor suggestions to the hotel management:
1. Don’t need a calendar, but do need clocks in the living room and the bedroom.
2. Need a trash can in the kitchen/dining table area.
3. Would be good to have a small dish rack, since guests are required to do the dishes
4. The sliding door from the master bedroom to the showers flaps around when closed if the heater or air is on. Needs to somehow stabilize it, it doesn’t make noise trying to sleep.
With just few minor improvements it would be a “perfect” place to stay!
GGuest UserUpon arrival at check in, we were given welcome cookies which came at a right time as we had arrived fairly late in the evening.
A very pleasant stay. The room was bright and very spacious.
We booked the breakfast - a very good selection of food.
GGuest UserI went to Kidzania in Seoul on Saturday and there was no other place nearby so I made a reservation for about 6kn. I got a 15% discount on the Saturday dinner buffet for guests so I had dinner and got a discount on the pool so I swam. The room condition was better than I thought so I enjoyed Hawkings. It was really good. Please note that it is cheaper on weekdays.
GGuest UserThis hotel room is beautiful and is situated at a retail square surrounded by good food.
The bathroom has really nice toiletries. Wish they have better privacy for the bathroom though.
The hotel staff are very nice and friendly and accommodating, even helping us to book ktx tickets as we did not have a Korean phone number.
Hotel is within 5 min walk of the subway station, an easy walk even with luggage. From the subway, there is an elevator that goes up into the mall and it’s just a straight path across 2 roads to the hotel.
GGuest UserThe room was huge, which was nice, but overall it was dark and didn't have any windows (motel?) There was a styler and a microwave, but I didn't use it. I was surprised that the bathroom trash can was full of trash, as if they had forgotten to clean it.
There were more outlets than I expected, but strangely they all didn't fit well into the holes, making it inconvenient to charge.
The location is close to Seohyeon Station, so it's nice that there are plenty of restaurants, cafes, and bars nearby. Parking is mechanical, but they provide valet parking.
The average price for hotels in Seongnam is AED 236 on weekdays, and AED 299 on weekends (Friday-Saturday).
