Simply one of the best experiences of my life. This place was magical! The staff was super friendly, the food was delicious, the location to die for, star gazing at night was super special. Having the experience to sleep so close to the animals was just surreal! We loved every minute of it. Our guide Francis was with us 4 nights - 2 here and 2 at the other Singita and he was the BEST!

Where do I begin...Singita is incredible and I hope I can go back one day. We went for a week for our honeymoon and stayed 3 nights at Faru Faru and 3 nights at Sabora. It was our first safari and we were so spoiled by the amazing staff, service, food, and overall experience. First, the game drives exceeded our expectations. Our guide was Paulo, and we were lucky to spend each day and drive with him. He was kind, funny, super knowledgeable about the land and animals, and an expert on birds which ended up being a highlight for us. He also takes beautiful photos and helped me learn how to use our new Nikon camera to get the best shots. We loved waking up for the sun rise drives with Paulo; on our 2nd day we saw a pride of female lions and sat with them as they napped and played - it was amazing! We got up close to many elephants, giraffes, and saw cheetahs, leopards, hippos, hyenas, and much more. Paulo was fantastic and he showed us all the beautiful animals, land, and plants beyond the big 5. We learned a lot and enjoyed every moment! The team at Sabora is incredible and they made us feel like family right away. Thank you so much to Fabio and Babs for making us feel so welcome and running such a wonderful property; Joshua, you were an incredible host and made us feel so taken care every moment of the day - you rock!; Emmanuel, you are a wine expert and we are now huge fans of South African wines thanks to you!; Alex and Hamisi, thank you so much for making sure we had everything needed during our stay and for the very warm welcome and tour - you are wonderful! The property and rooms at Sabora are stunning; when we first arrived, Joshua set up a beautiful lunch for us overlooking the plains and there were zebra and gazelles right next to us near the rooms, it was like something from a movie. The word 'tent' doesn't really describe how luxury these tents are - we had a large room with beautiful design details and a huge porch (I could see elephants from our porch a few days - wild!) I was obsessed with the room and want to make my house look like that! The food at Sabora was world-class; we had delicious hot and cold soups, a wonderful berber chicken (we even kindly got the recipe from the chef!), barbecue with chicken and barracuda, tikka lamb, a delicious tomato ragout, and they have a deli in the main lodge where you can grab snacks, salads, charcuterie, or juices throughout the day. I cannot recommend Singita enough - they are true luxury, but not in a stuffy way - everyone is so kind and makes you feel like family. This was an incredible safari experience and we were lucky to do it!

When you stay in these tents on the Tanzanian Serengeti you are not roughing it. This is peak ‘glamping’ at its best! The airconditioned tents are spacious, comfortable, and well-stocked with a variety of spirits, soft drinks, and snacks. The greater facilities are comprehensive and the food is fantastic. The highlight of our stay was, by far, our incredible safari guide, Musa who we’ve kept in touch with to this day. He was the best at tracking game, and was able to get our private vehicle in the ideal position to see a dramatic gazelle takedown by a family of cheetahs. Absolutely thrilling to see the full power of Nature on display! You feel like you’re on the edge of the world while still enjoying the finest comforts with a staff that makes the experience truly unforgettable.

A+ Outstanding experience. From the moment we arrived, our hosts were gracious and welcoming. Our tour guide, Japhet, was very knowledgeable, friendly and assisted us in seeing loads of animals (Lions, Zebra, Elephants, Baboons, Giraffe, Wildebest, Water Buffalo). Our hostess, Semmy, was always focused on ensuring we ate healthy, but tasty, food and that our tented camp house was well stocked with food and drinks. Edward was very friendly and always assisted us with tasks. Mr Willie kept us safe at night, and Mr Gideon was an outstanding housekeeper. This was a once in a lifetime experience and enhanced by the wonderful staff. We hope to return one day and see more of the beautiful Grumeti region. Thank you again!

Great service, great location, great hardworking staff. Nothing bad to really say about the hotel, the lodge, the awesome tent room (spacious and well appointed, indoor/outdoor shower, private toilet room, room darkening, a/c, nice deck, hot water, desk, room dividers, front porch too) and the camp main lodge is good. Our safari guide was really good. Plenty of food available here. Just wish Grumeti park had more animals. They could get 5x more of every animal and it still wouldn't fill the place. The grounds/acres to animal ratio seemed sparse at times. This park is huge! Plenty of lions, elephants, giraffe, zebra and buffalo, everything else from hippo, to wildebeast to hyena to cheetah to leopard etc - they need more of. Rhino if they could get them here would be nice. Felt like, at a few times, we had to drive a long ways at times to find animals or to get to where the resided in the park. The flies in the park are bad and annoying when on game drives. If go here, perhaps go during the migration. That I would consider coming back for. They wont drive into the serengiti either, that's not allowed, so if the animal crosses over, you don't.

Located in Tanzania in the Serengeti it is a beautiful Singita lodge. The tent is luxurious and well equipped with all the amenities. Special thanks to Bernard/Guide and Gerson/Waiter. The game viewing was wonderful with 2 game drives a day with lovely views and sunsets in the Serengeti. If you are doing two lodges in Tanzania I recommend doing Singita Sabora Tented Camp and Singita Sasakwa.

Located in Tanzania in the Serengeti it is a beautiful Singita lodge. Singita is known for having the absolute best lodges in Africa. The tent was luxurious and well equipped with all the amenities. There were two standouts on our 3 nights here. Bernard our guide was MAGNIFICENT! He is a so knowledgeable, kind and a true gentleman. His explanations of the animals we saw was Fabulous! He was truly one of the best guides we had in our 6 ½ weeks visiting 5 countries in Africa. We loved him and miss him! My travel agent requested him and we were so fortunate to have him. The other standout was our waiter Gerson, who was with us for all our meals at the lodge. He not only provided excellent service to us but has a delightful personality. We will never forget your beautiful smile every time we saw you! The game viewing was wonderful with 2 game drives a day with lovely views and sunsets in the Serengeti. Bernard and Gerson even surprised us with a fabulous sundowner with drinks and snacks that was surely a highlight. The food prepared by Chef Sean was delicious and creative. There is a fire pit that all the guests went to before dinner set up with drinks and was a great way to socialize with the other guests. Thank you also to Richard our housekeeper, Dan ( Management Staff), Edward ( Guest Relations), Song (Wine Sommelier) and Fabio (General Manager) for a great stay at Sabora Tented Camp. As we were leaving to go to our next lodge- Singita Sasakwa- just an hour drive away- I was sad to tell Gerson our waiter good bye and he said if you request me to the GM , I can follow you to Sasakwa. We were so happy we could do that. Of course we were also fortunate to have our guide Bernard follow us to that lodge too that was prearranged. If you are doing two lodges in Tanzania I recommend doing Singita Sabora Tented Camp and Singita Sasakwa which provides a different experience.

As a first safari for my girlfriend and I, this was absolute perfection. Thelocation was amazing surrounded by beautiful views and animals only a stones throw away. We were fortunate enough to have Hassan as our helper within the camp for the week, his service and attention to detail was immaculate, he didn't make us feel like a guest, he made us feel like a family member within the camp, Anything we needed or requested he helped us out. Our guide Kim was essentially a walking encyclopedia, his knowledge of every single animal was outstanding and I now know facts about animals that before this I never knew existed. You can see that still after 23 years of being a guide he has the same enthusiasm and enjoyment as he did on his 1st day. The expereince we both had here is going to be hard to top on future vacations and we will 100% be visiting Singita Sebora again, this venue is a credit to Singita and it's easy to see that the management and all of the workers work tirelessly to ensure that guests have the most amazing time.

Surrounded by the Grumeti reserve, we were so close to the animals, and yet felt completely safe - and pampered- during our stay there. Fabulous game drives - our guide Robert provided us with the most intimate animal encounters imaginable. The tents provided glamping at its finest. Trained escorts accompanied us to and from the restaurant and other facilities.
