Camp de Mar is a quiet place, the hotel is easily accessible (us with the A 11 bus) from Mallorca airport. The structure is not new but has been well renovated and above all very clean. The all-inclusive formula used by many hotels certainly takes away some of the quality of the meals. But there was a large selection of fruit, bread, cereals, juices, smoothies, and many other things at breakfast.
For lunch and dinner I'm a little more reserved, but when I saw what some people put on their plates (fruit, meat and desserts together) I think it's better to be satisfied with the variety of foods offered. The deckchair area by the sea is too beautiful ( :—)) paid deckchairs ) but a marvel. Not a very large room but ours had a frontal sea view, a fairytale. Very pleasant bed linen and dream mattress (no back pain when waking up). Gym not up to the standard of a Hyatt.

Arrived to a very friendly staff member, he held our cases at reception & told us to go for food & drink in there restaurant which had a great variety of choice, Our room was lovely & clean it over looked the pool & view of the sea, the pool & surroundings got cleaned every day, lovely tidy clean hotel, rooms got cleaned most days with fresh towels, we went on a couple of excursions one being the 2 hr cruise which was well worth the money, local shops are a bit pricey & nobody sells tabacco or cigarettes so make sure u have supplies, I would highly recommend & would definitely go back without a doubt, very friendly place, Thank you for making our holiday a dream to remember.

A really chilled experience. Very welcoming and friendly staff. Rooms are not the largest but are the cleanest I've seen in a holiday hotel. Great location adjacent to the beach. food was great, plentiful and of good quality with a wide selection available. Some great sea view from those room which have it. We would definitely visit again. We'd recommend hiring a small car, we did this for three days and visited many attractions which would have cost us at least three times as much if we'd have gone on organised outings. We went to the mountains and saw some spectacular scenery and some hair-raising roads. Many thanks to Raphael on reception for his advice on which routes to take. We also visited the Caves of Drach, which you have to, but it's very commercial with hundreds of people moving through at a time. We also visited Coves d'Artà which are some other spectacular show caves a few minutes up the coast. This was a much more relaxed experience with a multilingual guide and small groups of visitors. We had a great time and would go again.

Just got back from an amazing holiday at the Alua Gran. My Mum and I have been to Majorca three times over different places and this was our favourite stay by far. Our room was situated just above the entertainment room overlooking the pool so was a great view. I was worried about the noise but that wasn’t an issue at all. The room was also always very clean. The facilities were fab. Including the pool which was lovely. This was also very clean! Breakfast, lunch and dinner were all so lovely. They always had something new each evening as a theme so there was plenty to try! The desserts were also amazing. The staff were all very helpful, smiling and friendly. Including the entertainment team… Sergio was truly fantastic. With children and adults. The evening entertainment was the best I have seen at a hotel, and the day entertainment was nice and chilled. I liked playing bingo! I could write an essay but just wanted to say we had a fab week, and enjoyed every moment. We will be back!

I would have given it 5* But the food lets the Hotel Down.Hotel is emasculated the staff work so hard the rooms are a good size for a couple and very clean we had our room cleaned every day bedding changed when I requested it . I was so disappointed with the food for a 4* it was cold on many occasions and they dont replenish the dishes quick enough .I definitely didn’t want to see last night chips mixed with egg for breakfast the next morning.They also had food themed night such as Indian but no Indian food what was that all about .I definitely didn’t want a cold pitta bread and a heated frozen samosa . It’s definitely not 4* food and this is one of the reasons we won’t return. The resort its self is very quiet not bars just a couple of restaurants but nothing else . It’s a shame about the food because it’s a beautiful hotel and place .

What a fantastic place & hotel. All the staff helpful and hotel clean. Entertainment not to much but good fun and can take & leave with no pressure, Animation team all different personalities which make a great team. Food lovely, fresh & well cooked, yes can get a bit the same but you just need to vary your choices they are catering for large numbers. We had a Mexican night with fajitas which were lovely and made a nice change. Hotel not to big or small which is great for faimillies enough going on & children make friends easy. Location stunning, step out of hotel & at the beach & sea. Things like paddle boards, pedlos, jet skis here also good for snorkeling lots of fish. The smell people say near the beach is just drains unfortunately don't let it put you off often get this is other countries. Also bus brilliant can get other resorts in 5 to 25 mins if you want a bit more going on.

This hotel doesn't fit the criterias for a 4 stars at all. Food : variety of choice between frozen food or cans food. Even quite simple food like makis or pizza tastes bad. The restaurant is rarely cleaned (our toddler dropped food on the floor one evening, we found it still on the floor the next morning, and baby chairs were always dirty) and the hygiene is bad as well : I found two rotten boiled eggs from the same batch, when I complained the cook gave me another egg came from who knows where, but didn't replace the batch. Room : small, with flaky paint, hair on the floor, old equipment... Be careful when you book a room with sea view, it's mainly a pool view with a lot of noise at day and night. We have a baby who couldn't sleep because of the noise. A lot of things are extra, like fresh pressed orange juice was 4 euros, even if you're all inclusive. And I had to pay 7 euros to get 2 beach towels cleaned, which weren't really cleaned or dry when I got them back. The price for clothes cleaning is really high : 9,50 euros for pyjama, 6 euros for one t-shirt...

We loved it so we are going back this year for more! We booked for breakfast and evening meal which was just right. Plenty of choices and seating inside or out. Situated right on the seafront with amazing views. Buses and taxis to surrounding areas on the doorstep.
