Leonardo Boutique Hotel Mallorca Port Portals

We enjoyed our 5 nights at this small friendly hotel. All the staff are exemplary & go above and beyond to make everything as enjoyable as possible. There is a warm greeting at breakfast and we found it excellent value for money. Drunks & poolside lunches from the pool bar are lovely and very reasonable. Yes there is a little noise from the road by the pool but we really didn't notice it as the pool area is lovely with a relaxing vibe. The loungers by the pool are super comfy. The rooms are not huge but very nicely appointed - you have everything you need & location is excellent for the harbour. A couple of pointers would be that we didn't enjoy being next to smokers by the pool or getting a face full from those vaping next to you - there aren't so many poolside beds - so options there were limited. Would be nicer if there was a designated smoking area. Lastly not one English TV channel - whilst we don't travel to watch TV whilst away we would have like to have viewed some of the Olympics whilst away with English commentary. We found it surprising as theres a high percentage of UK at this hotel. Thank you to everyone - we will be rebooking for next year as it was so chilled & enjoyable. .

We stayed here for a few nights in August, I would say for value for money it's 10/10 the rooms were a good size and the extremely polite and helpful lady at reception helped us choose a room that we liked. Location wise it's a 5min walk to bars restaurants and the beach. The pool is excellent and not that busy with loads of sunloungers.
Ca's Garriguer

Such a lovely stay at Ca’s Garriguer this month. The hosts at Ca’s Garriguer went over and above to make us feel comfortable. We weren’t very organised and so hoped to rent bikes for our stay as non-drivers with Equip Deia as informed by Ca’s Garriguers hosts but they didn’t have bikes available when we arrived. Ca’s Garriguers hosts went to purchase two bikes for the hotel that day, making them available during our stay - how special! We also struggled to find suitable transport into Valldemossa without a car but Ca’s Garriguers hosts offered to drive us in and collect us after dinner one night! The hotel itself is perfect, in a really tranquil setting. A perfect pool with sun loungers, and quite private with minimal interaction with other guests. The breakfast is wonderful but quite expensive if you were to have it every day during a stay. The check-in process was seamless, with a perfectly-described double room with balcony and beautiful views. Two towels are available, one bath and one hand as well as a beach towel. We couldn’t work the safe (think it was broken, although we forgot to inform hosts!) and there wasn’t an information book in the room (Covid) so we felt like quite high maintenance guests for Lucia and Marie Anna! While we had the perfect stay, we were looking for a break - somewhere super quiet with minimal planning required and this accommodation was a dream. Quite tricky to do without a car, but the bikes the hosts purchased should address that now! Thanks again!
Apartamentos Vista Club

Booked a 2 night stay here with 14yr. We found the staff friendly, our apartment was clean, shower was great, air con in one room only, nice view from the balcony. Plenty of sunbeds (few need to be tighten up), pools are lovely, pool timings only till 6pm which would have be nice to have an extra hour as it is a sun trap. Pool bar 5.5euro for a beer, full English breakfast with a cuppa 8.5, food was lovely and served hot, staff helpful & polite. There is a great curiosity room & towels supplied. The steps down to the beach/shops is one to know about, however it is what it is. We would defo go back for a mini break.
Hostal Residencia Sutimar

Just back from a week break in Paguera. This was a very last minute trip and we were very lucky to find such a great hostal The proprietors were so kind and welcoming. Spotlessly clean throughout, comfy beds and pillows. Charming chambermaid Breakfast was simple but plenty of choice and freshly cooked eggs, bacon and sausage along with normal cold meats, cheese and fruit Very hot whilst we were there and Paguera is a lively loud resort until about midnight but there is air con although we just left the balcony door open so early nights were not possible 2 minutes from the beach and as many bars and restaurants as you could ever desire
Playas del Rey

Terrible Experience at Hotel Playas del Rey majorca– Avoid! My family and I stayed at Hotel Playas del Rey in Santa Ponsa from August 19th to 25th, and it was by far the worst hotel experience we've ever had. This hotel is completely rundown, dirty, and in desperate need of renovation. The room we stayed in was filthy—ceiling leaks, broken furniture, and dirty bathrooms were just the start. Pillows and blankets were in terrible condition, and we even found cockroaches in the room. The dust in the room was so bad that it triggered my daughter's asthma, leaving her unwell for the rest of our stay. Despite complaining to the manager, nothing was done to address these issues. On top of the room conditions, basic services were lacking. Towels for the swimming pool had to be paid for, which is ridiculous. The breakfast was included in our booking, but it was an absolute disaster. We had to walk to another road for breakfast, and once there, the selection was terrible. The place was dirty, with only one overwhelmed lady trying to serve everyone. The food options were practically non-existent. To make matters worse, I requested a late checkout and offered to pay for it. The rooms were empty, but the staff still refused, showing a complete lack of customer care. I strongly advise against staying at this hotel. The positive reviews and photos online are completely misleading. It’s shocking how poorly maintained this hotel is, and how little the staff seems to care about their guests' well-being. Avoid at all costs!
