Coming from a period of work and personal stress, I found everything I could wish for in this simple family-run structure with a warm and attentive welcome to guests by all the staff. I appreciated the lack of TV in the room, it brought me back to appreciating a good read or relaxing on the terrace with a breathtaking view of the bay. The excellent dishes are among the best I have tasted during my stay on the island... I only used the electric shuttle upon arrival with my luggage and then I enjoyed the walks to get to the guesthouse which were up and down but with small handrails and a view of the sea. For me, holidays are made up of simple and genuine things that bring me into contact with nature and the slow rhythms that we have lost every day. Thank you Carmen

I strongly recommend the Villa Franz hotel in S. Angelo di Ischia. Located in an excellent position 2 minutes from the Maronti and fumarole beaches. We stayed in this hotel in August with 3 people. Friendly and kind staff, always attentive to satisfying our every request, in particular the owner Carmen who welcomed us every day with a smile. I stayed two weeks at Villa Franz, between the end of June and the beginning of July and, almost two weeks after returning to Novara, I cannot take away from my eyes and heart the beauty of that breathtaking panorama overlooking the bay of S. Angelo and the wonder of that terrace a few steps from the sea below. Truly a corner of Paradise, where time seems to have stopped, preserving the authenticity of things from the past. Silence and tranquility take over and replace the din and noise, giving you a satisfying serenity!! The owners are kind and helpful, there is such a familiar atmosphere, that I felt like I had always known them!! The breakfasts were much appreciated, with jams and desserts prepared by Carmen, so delicious they were mouth-watering!! Well... what can I say...
