We had a campsite booked for 2 nights. Lovely campsite, views were spectacular. We visited Big daddy and Fish river canyon whilst we were there. The pool could do with being a bit bigger or additional one built as well as more sun loungers could be provided with a bit more shade. It gets very crowded in the afternoons especially when bus loads arrive. The restuarant area was managed by very friendly staff. There is room for improvement on the menu and the quality of food as well as chose of items in the shop was very minimalistic. There is however a shop just outside the secured entrance to the campsite that has more of a chose. We only found this out when we were leaving and putting fuel in.

Campsite is very exposed to the wind. The ONLY merit is being inside the park. I recommend not to stay longer than needed. If you arrive relatively early, one night should do it.. to see sunset inside and in the morning to go for the sunrise to Deadvlei

We stayed at this campsite for a night. We had our private bathroom, a shelter, and a sink. It was clean, slightly noisy in the evening, though. Near this campsite there is a public one which doesn't have private bathrooms, as well as a lodge (it was unfortunately full, so we stayed at the campsite). The advantage of staying at the campsite is that you can enter the park around one hour before sunrise and exit it one hour after sunset (people staying outside the park can only enter at sunrise and should exit at sunset). The sunrise was at 7am that day, so we were told to be at the gate at 6.15am. We arrived at 5.50am and were the second car waiting for the second gate to open. However, we were overtaken afterwards by almost all cars behind us as the speed limit is 60km/h and we seemed the only guys respecting the speed limit. Overall, it is worth it to stay at the campsite in order to be in the park.

Sesriem Campsite is ideally located, granting early access to Sossusvlei Park and the stunning dunes at sunrise. The campsite is spacious and well spread out, offering plenty of room for campers. Has electricity, light and water at each campsite. There is a basic convenience store and a restaurant for essentials and meals. The bathrooms are simple but functional. Overall, it's a great base for exploring the dunes.

I really don’t known if it was the tour agency or the lodge but something was wrong here The local team at the front desk was super nice Up my agency it was possible to have dinner here but on site they explained that it was not , only access to the bar and pool , ok why not , they for the wifi no access to the lodge one but they provided me an internet Reuter , in extra , it was perfect The camp localization, that it s the main issue This arras is surrounded by the lodge access road , the park road access and a lodge construction , all this things have me a bad impression and I really did not feel well here I asked in order to move further but it was impossible because I was staying 2 nights I did the park game drive with the lodge it was super pleasant ; 1000 ND with breakfast box , super guid and comfy car I ll keep a weird feeling about this place …

Camp equiped with bathroom ans toilets at your place, clean and adapted to park the car. Unfortunately each place are near from the other which is a negative point. The parc gate is just at the beginning of the camp if you want to leave earlier for the dunes in the morning.

Great campsite to stay at. We did 2 nights here. It can get really really hot at ssesriem and the shaded site can help a little - but access to the NWR pool helps even more! Having an attached shower and toilet was a luxurious touch for us :) campsite is small and quiet. There is a lot of room between each site.

Me and my girlfriend spent 30 days touring Namibia where we stayed at a good number of campsites. Sesriem Oshana was probably one of the top campsites we stayed at. The campsite itself was excellent: quiet, spacious and had a decent view of Elim Dune. You get your own shower, bathroom and sink area (which has hot water). Also, the nightsky at this campsite is something else. It was the first time I'd ever seen the Milky Way in any kind of detail in real life. The bar / shop was a great place to grab cold drinks (definitely needed when you're in the middle of the desert) and the pool area was a great place to cool off, chill and meet other tourists / travellers. We were also close to the inner gate which was perfect when we wanted to visit Elim, Big Daddy, Dune 45 and the Deadvlei. We loved it here, which is why we spent 3 nights here. If I go back to Namibia one day, I'll definitely be coming back.

VERY UNHAPPY LOCAL GUEST We paid N$4700 for 4 adults and 1 child this weekend. This camp site is not secluded and unique as you would assume for the price. You share the restaurant and pool with the NWR campsite which is RIGHT behind this one. Campsites are on top of each other and so close together that you hear your neighbours conversations. NWR campsite is N$800 for the weekend which is a massive difference. Oshana camp site has no trees and almost no shade. The tiny roof doesn’t help much. NWR campsite has full power and massive trees. Essentially what you pay $4700 for was a private shower and toilet. An absolute rip off! To add to that, the shower geyser is only big enough for 2 people to shower, then it’s ice cold. NWR ablutions are beautiful and clean. Don’t waste your time and money paying for this campsite, rather just book at NWR.
