We arrived at this hotel from a cab at the train station. When my husband went to show his ID at the hotel desk, he realized that his pocket had been picked at the train station. The desk clerk at this hotel immediately took us under his wing and helped us through the lengthy process of cancelling all of my husband’s credit cards. A member of the staff gave him a local phone to use to cancel his cards. This was a kindness that wasn’t necessary but it goes to show you how thoughtful and caring the staff at the AC Hotel Milan Sesto ARE. We even received an upgrade on our room. That took a small sting out of being pick pocketed. To all the kind staff at this hotel, THANK YOU

The hotel is multi storey and well situated and has underground secure parking, There are numerous shops, restaurants and a large COOP supermarket very close by. Although the mall area immediately behind the hotel has seen better days, there is also a nice park close by for walking the dog if you have one with you.. The nearest metro station is also within a ten minute walk.The rooms are a decent size and modern with a TV offering a good selection of channels including some Sky and internet. Breakfast is served on the 1st floor, food choices are fairly standard. The only negative was due to the fact that there was quite a strong wind during the night of our stay which caused a high pitched sound as it whistled around the aluminium framed windows (we were on the 8th floor) making it difficult to sleep peacefully, even though the bed itself was quite comfortable.There were only two pillows in the room on arrival but room service brought us two extra on request. There is no fridge in the room, which would be useful given the very hot summer. Fortunately the A/C unit was working and kept the room cool and comfortable.

Επέλεξα να μείνω στο συγκεκριμένο ξενοδοχείο τον Νοέμβριο του '22. Σε γενικές γραμμές ήταν καλό. Το δωμάτιο ήταν μεγάλο, με καθαρά κλινοσκεπάσματα, υπέροχο στρώμα, καλό φωτισμό και με ευρύχωρο μπάνιο. Ωστόσο, η μία λάμπα στο δωμάτιο ήταν καμένη ενώ το mini bar για 4* ξενοδοχείο, άδειο! Το πρωινό ήταν πλούσιο σε επιλογές, σε ένα ήσυχο περιβάλλον με καθαρά σερβίτσια. Το προσωπικό του ξενοδοχείου φιλικό, πρόθυμο να απαντήσει σε κάθε ερώτηση, ωστόσο, όταν ζήτησα πληροφορίες για μεταφορά προς το αεροδρόμιο, η μοναδική επιλογή (τους) ήταν ”ταξί” που κατέληξε σε συνεργαζόμενο γραφείο - ενώ σε ερώτηση ενημέρωσης δρομολογίων των λεωφορείων (μιας κι η πτήση ήταν πρωινή ώρα), η απάντηση τους ήταν ”δεν γνωρίζουμε, πρέπει να ενημερωθείτε απ' την εκάστοτε εταιρεία”, κάτι φυσικά που με απογοήτευσε, διότι περίμενα καλύτερη και πληρέστερη ενημέρωση απ' το Guest Relation. Όσον αφορά τη τοποθεσία, βρίσκεται μόλις 5 λεπτά μακριά (με τα πόδια) απ' το μετρό και μέσα σε λίγα μόλις λεπτά βρίσκεσαι στο κέντρο του Μιλάνο.

Booked this hotel to go to the F1 at Monza. On a positive it is ideal for this as a short drive up a straight road to the blue car park. On arrival it looks impressive in an area that looks run down. Good parking. Negatives. The website says restaurant and bar, yes there is but it isn’t open. The mall underneath closes early so no food available if you arrive late. Bathrooms had staining on floor and everywhere in the room needed dusting. Breakfast ok but staff a bit rude. The reception staff were very good and booked us into a local restaurant with return transfers free of charge. The restaurant was amazing and grateful for the recommendation. This could be a very good hotel but falls short. It most certainly isn’t 4* and the website needs amending to show what is available. However if you are going to the F1 and prepare for what’s available it’s ok. Note to hotel: you have missed a big opportunity to bring in big money over the past weekend. There were many fans staying there who would have drunk the bar dry and eaten loads. Instead they were sat outside with food and drink from the mall.

Work trip to a local business. Booked in by colleague. Suited our needs as close to the business we were visiting and not too far from airport. I had read before I went that there was not a kettle in the room so went prepared. Being British it is important to have a constant flow of tea. Room was slightly dated but clean and had everything needed for the three night stay. Breakfasts were good and the filled croissants were lovely. Staff in the restaurant were friendly. Hotel is right next to metro that takes you into Milan. We went in once on our last day and it was on €2 each way taking you right into the heart of Milan. Restaurants are good around the hotel and very reasonably priced as not a tourist area as such. We did not eat at the hotel in the evening but food was available. We did not have time to use the pool or leisure facilities but they were available. I forgot to request a bath but my colleague had one so they are available should you prefer. All in all a good stay and suited our needs.

The hotel environment is very good, the rooms are old and interesting, and the sanitation and facilities are good. Warm and proactive service. There is a shopping mall next to the hotel, which is very convenient. The disadvantage is that the location is relatively remote. But overall the price is very high.
