We felt like home, thank you Virginia and Ben. You made our stay wonderful. We loved the atmosphere, people and food were amazing. We will definitely come back. Room was clean and cosy, and view from our window was amazing. We tried to wake up early to catch the sunrise. The best holiday we had so far!

I have stayed here previously and it’s a great place. The host owners care about the food they serve and where it comes from. They care about the environment too. The breakfasts are fabulous- really tasty. The hotel is spotless and the beds and linen are top notch. Another lovely weekend here.

We stayed for New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day and had a great time. The owners were very friendly and accommodating, they gave us a lift on New Year’s Eve to our meal which was greatly appreciated! The guest lounge was a very cozy place with a lovely fire and a well stocked honesty bar. The breakfasts were also great.

Had a truly wonderful, relaxing break at Ouse Bridge House. Ben, Virginia, and their family are warm and friendly hosts. We thoroughly enjoyed our breakfasts made with local produce and had a beautiful room with very comfy bed and wonderful views of Bassenthwaite Lake. Would definitely recommend staying here.

We returned for yet another stay at our favourite B&B. Friendly, helpful hosts, large car park, comfortable and spacious rooms with excellent showers, beautiful breakfasts, breathtaking views, lovely guest lounge with honesty bar, books, games, leaflets of places to visit and fridge plus homemade sweet treats.

Hosts Virginia and Ben couldn't have been more helpful, idyliic spot at north end of picturesque Bassenthwaite Lake, conveniently just off the A66 right through the Lake District. Rooms comfortable, breakfast menu superb, comfortable lounge and bedrooms, safe parking for our motorcycles.

A wonderful two night stay at Ouse Bridge House, located on the edge of Bassenthwaite Lake with stunning views of the lake and neighbouring hills. The rooms were clean and cosy, the breakfast delicious and hearty, and the hospitality and service from Ben & Virginia was second to none! Close by to nearby towns like Keswick & Cockermouth

My third time staying at this wonderful guest house. The rooms are clean and comfortable and well equipped with tea and coffee. The views are amazing from the front of the house. The breakfast is as always delicious and Ben and V and extremely welcoming and friendly hosts. Will definitely be back
