Vritomartis Naturist Resort

An absolutely amazing resort. From the moment we arrived until our final day, we found the staff were always friendly courteous and ever helpful. The accommodation along with the house keeping staff deserves five stars, with its clean, comfortable and modern facilities. The food was incredible with amazing choices at every meal. It’s not very often that we return to a holiday destination, but this is one we will definitely come back to.

Our eighth visit over the last 12 years and we still love going to Vritomartis. We were fortunate to get our ideally positioned bungalow and having not been for a couple of years were delighted with the room refurbishment. We always walked down to Filaki Beach and took the bus back mid afternoon. The beach taverna food was really good with the salads being outstanding. Though we enjoyed dinners the veg even on hot plates was cold. Some more Greek dishes would be good. We will return.

This was our second stay at Vritomartis Naturist Resort and most guests we spoke to were repeat visitors. The photos of the resort speak for themselves - it is idyllic - what they can't show is the exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. The naturist lifestyle and constant sunlight must be one of the best anti-stress anti- depressants therapies.

Hotel was excellent with very nice rooms, very well organised. Immaculately maintained and cleaned. Excellent breakfast choice and quality. All well stocked . Evening meal had an amazing choice and very high quality and perfect drinks service. All staff were very friendly and helpful, service was faultless for all 17 days we were there. Amminators Paul and Marco were excellent and made the activities great fun. A credit to the hotel! All in all a faultless experience, a real relaxing and enjoyable holiday

My wife and I like many others were returning guests. At this time of the year perfect weather seems guaranteed. It’s a long trip from South Africa to Crete and this time we economised where we could by using the excellent bus service from Port Souda to Chania and then Chania to Sfakia. The bus made a special stop for us at the Vritomartis entrance. Beautiful gardens, swimming pool, pétanque pitch, archery, tennis, beach etc. With helpful, friendly staff, good food, beautiful weather and outdoor facilities one finds oneself, along with fellow guests in a wonderfully relaxed and stress free environment. A real holiday!

Our first time visiting Vritomartis and first experience of a naturist resort, we were not disappointed. From the warm welcome on arrival, the awesome accommodation and the courtesy and respect from staff and other holiday makers, this was truly a holiday to remember. Due to the resort being busy we had 8 days in a standard bungalow ond 3 days in a side-view room in the main hotel building, both were beautiful. We really enjoyed the bungalow as you could enjoy the naturist experience a little more and we had a lovely view of the sea. We celebrated our wedding anniversary for which, at a reasonable cost, reception arranged flowers and prosecco into our room and arranged the room beautifully. The standard of food was really first class both at breakfast and dinner, we tried lots of things and the flavours were amazing. As for the desserts, a big shout to the team preparing these. We spent several days at the pool and some on the beach. Both are nice and the bars have a good lunch menu and we were pleasantly surprised at the cost of food and drink. Poolside or edge of see drinks service was really good and we built up a nice friendly rapore with the hotel staff. We found the entertainment really good, some first class acts 3 or 4 evenings and other evenings the animation team kept us all entertained with quiz, karaoke, etc. A few small suggestions to improve, these are quite minor as the hotel really is perfect: - a kettle and cups are provided in the rooms but no tea, coffee or milk and the resort shop only supplies jars of coffee. It would be a nice addition if supplies were provided as most hotels would. - all drinks are chargeable. A reasonable request is to provide some water on the tables or for a supply that guests could serve themselves. Likewise a self service tea/coffee station would be nice - appreciate this is extra work. Holidays to us are about enjoying your time and the memories you bring home. We had our best ever holiday and we are full of nice memories of our first naturist experience. We really hope to be back and thanks to everyone at Vritomartis, you really are special.
