We booked this hotel because it was new, had a very cute penguin theme, and was conveniently located near Haichang Ocean Park. The check in service was quick and smooth. The rooms are large and comfortable. The children’s gift in the room was a very nice surprise! Our children also loved the children’s playground in the hotel lobby and the penguins in the lobby. When our friends encountered a problem with an unruly, aggressive guest, the hotel manager went above and beyond to support us and help us solve the problem. He definitely deserves a lot of praise for his kindness and professional manner! He reviewed the CCTV carefully, communicated the findings to my friends, and supported them in resolving the problem. His customer service was top notch! While the weekend was busy and there were many other guests, all of whom had young kids, the service was excellent. The hotel offered a frequent free shuttle bus to Ocean Park. The breakfast buffet was excellent with lots of choice (go early to avoid waiting in lines). We went for breakfast at 8 AM and were quickly seated. Guests who arrived at 8:30 AM had to wait for a table. There are not many dinner options available nearby, and food delivery takes a while. It is also a bit difficult getting a taxi at the hotel, as the location is a bit remote. Overall though, we enjoyed our stay and it was a fun experience!

From the lobby to the guest room decorations, penguin-themed designs can be seen everywhere, and some restaurants even have penguin viewing areas, which makes the children very happy.
There are shuttle buses for both round trips, so it is also very convenient to go to the park.

This time I stayed at the Penguin Hotel, which was generally good and my kids liked it. The tall and thin receptionist at the front desk had the best service attitude. The other ladies (the two I met) always looked impatient when you asked them a question. Everything else was good. If you needed anything, they would give it to you as soon as possible, such as toothpaste or purifier. The shuttle bus was also very timely, running every 5 minutes, and basically it would start as soon as you got on the bus.

It's pretty good. The family room has a big bed + bunk beds. The breakfast is quite rich. There is a large children's playground on the first floor, but the business hours are too short. It opens at 10 and closes at 8, which is basically in Haichang. There are many shuttle buses to Haichang, so you don't have to worry about living far away. This place is a bit remote, you can order takeout, but there are not many choices.
