I booked this hotel due to some urgent work matters to settle nearby, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise! The room deco is new and stylish. The location is not bad, close to metro, the raffles city near northern bund. For this budget hotel, the rate even covers breakfast with decent Chinese spread. I am happy with my stay.

This is the cleanest and quietest hotel to choose from. The breakfast is okay, not many varieties but clean and hygienic. Although the lobby looks old, the rooms have been renovated, are very clean, soundproofed and very quiet at night. It's a ten-minute walk from the subway entrance and only takes twenty minutes by taxi to the Bund. Although there is Tilanqiao Prison next to it, it has been moved away long ago and there is no noise at all at night.

The room is of a good size, with complete facilities and sanitation, although there was hair on the bed. It is a few hundred meters from the subway, not far away. The reception is average, but everything else is OK.
