Got upgraded to higher floor with slightly bigger bed. Surprised room 605 doesn’t come w a fridge but they brought a small fridge for us after we called reception. No breakfast this round as we went for food tours.

An excellent hotel: excellent location (3 minutes walking distance to the metro station, LU-ONE shopping mall, and many restaurants, 15 minutes walking distance to Xintiandi, Fuxing Plaza etc.), great staff everywhere, wonderful jazzy design… Clean and quite room, wonderful breakfast… Recommend highly to stay at this hotel.

A small boutique hotel with a Chinoiserie vibe including real chirping love birds in cages in the lobby. I wanted a room not facing the main road as I'm sensitive to noise so the view is acceptable as it's another building. Bed linen changed daily - white and lightly starched. Nice! The aircond was not needed in the first 4 nights as it was cool. However it was quite warm in the last night due to the change in weather. The aircond did not work too well then but it was ok. Would be great if they can sort it out :)

My stay here was really wonderful. I love the room and the bedroom and bedding was very comfortable. The staff here is wonderful and speaks some English. The breakfast is very good and extensive. My room was quiet and smoke free.

Great services from the front desks. Hotel location and overall amenities are top notch. Wide breakfast selections and high tea selection. Highly recommend. Would have preferred temperature be controlled by room rather centrally managed. Fan was provided nonetheless. Will return!

When we checked in we were told by the one processing our check in, a middle aged man, that the room we booked was only 15m2 and it is near the lift which is noisy. So we asked to change room but he said that we have to pay about rmb70 extra. We argued with him and he agreed to change to a bigger room without extra charge. When reached the room we realised that the room is facing another building which is about 15m away and hence no view.
When i checked my booking i realised i reserved a 21m2 room with city view. We felt deceived by the male receptionist but we decided not to pursue the matter since we are in holiday. That definitely left a bad taste in the mouth.

Very nice and great value hotel, nice location with local market and mall. Vera clean and well decoration.Not far from metro .There is a nice sesame sauce noodle nearby.
