Hotels in North Sichuan Road Commercial Area, Shanghai

We stayed here for 3 days. Location: The hotel is located near the train station, which is very convenient. The residence have a restaurant, coffee and burger shop right beside the entrance to the hotel. It was easy to go to the Jing'an downtown. Service: None of the staff speaks English even though they advise that they speak English on Trip.com. The people at the front desk in the lobby have poor attitudes, and we did not really feel welcomed here. Whenever we had general questions, they seemed to not want to answer and did the bare minimum to help. When I checked in on our first day, the staff told me to wait for another staff because he did NOT know how to do it. We had to wait 10 minutes. Also on the day of our check out, we gave back the hotel room card to another young man at the front desk. He was not service-minded as he was too busy playing games on his phone while we were waiting for him to check us out! Very unprofessional to play games at work and he seemed annoyed and did not understand why I was waiting for him to check us out. I tried to explain to him we had to check out now to catch a flight while he had the audacity to still play on his phone, and he replied that he did not understand why we were still standing there and asked if we had other questions! Room: The apartment room was true to the photos and the room was cleaned daily with no further problem. The shower head in the bathroom spills out a lot of water to the toilet though, which is a minus. The bed was harder than standard hotel bed so it wasn't very comfortable, but we did not experience backpains. We received a gift from the hotel which was nice. Everything was provided daily. Facilities: The hotel's facility has a huge terrace which was really nice and there is also an area for dogs to play. We did not have enough time to try the gaming area and exercise room but it looked nice on the outside. The coffee machine in the lobby was always empty of either coffee or cups though, which was not very pleasant. Overall, we enjoyed the location, our apartment room but the service is truly terrible. It's unfortunate since the residence hotel is very neat and we enjoyed ouf stay at our room. They staffs on the front desk need more service training and generally people who actually like to work in the hotel industry.

I like the decor and design of the hotel, especially the hotel lobby and lounge. The service was excellent, particularly from the front desk agent named Rosia, who was very helpful and provided a lot of details. The breakfast was great with plenty of variety. I really enjoyed my stay and will definitely come again. 我喜欢酒店的装饰和设计，尤其是酒店大堂和休息区。服务非常好，特别是前台的Rosia, 提供了很多细节。早餐很棒，有很多种类。我很享受我的入住体验，肯定会再来。

Nice place to stay when in shanghai.. it has smart toilet and inside washing machine but you need to make sure again if your room will get smart toilet. it’s also near metro station as well as shanghai train station. Rui who is the desk staff is very helpful because she arranged for my charger to be sent to Chongqing when i accidentaly left it when i checked out.

The hotel is quite close to Joy City Jing'an, about an 8-9 minute taxi ride away. We specifically chose this hotel because my child wanted to visit the Animate store at Joy City. Overall, the hotel's service was mediocre. For instance, the security guards in the lobby wouldn't open car doors for guests or assist with luggage upon arrival. The room soundproofing was poor; children were loudly yelling at night. The buffet breakfast was truly awful, and I heard it's outsourced. Not only was the variety pitifully limited, but even the wontons were sour. The only reason we booked this place was its convenient location near Joy City.

The cleanliness of the room and the service provided by the hotel were very good. However, there were areas that needed improvement. I stayed at the hotel for five nights. The TV's internet service wasn’t working for all channels for three nights. Need additional payments to watch most of the TV channels Additionally, unlike most hotels in China, this hotel offers only a fixed set breakfast instead of a buffet. The breakfast cost ¥38 but the portions were relatively small and there were only three varieties to choose from. Also, do not be misled by the hotel’s advertised photos. The hotel is a three-story building with just over 40 rooms. The tall apartment complex visible behind the hotel in the photo is not part of the hotel property. The location is somewhat isolated and was not noisy at night. The nearest metro and bus stations were within a 10 or 15-minute walk.

I came to Shanghai with my girlfriend to see a concert, so I booked a hotel half a month in advance. After comparing a few hotels with similar prices and room types, I picked this one. Upon arrival, I was surprised to see a standee – I didn't realize Junting had a collaboration! A male staff member at the front desk, perhaps recognizing our outfits, figured out we were here for the concert. He thoughtfully gave us small fans, wristbands, and hair clips, which was a huge plus. I hadn't expected any collaboration when I booked. **Parking**: The hotel's underground parking is very convenient and offers free unlimited parking. However, there are only about 20-30 spaces, not too big, not too small. We arrived at noon and there was only one spot left. I recommend arriving in the morning, mid-day, or afternoon for a better chance of finding a space. **Breakfast**: The breakfast was very plentiful. I had initially hesitated about booking breakfast. The breakfast hours are from 7:00 AM to 9:30 AM, and even at 9:10 AM, there was still plenty to eat, including noodles, fried rice, fried noodles, fruit, coffee, beverages, and pastries. The variety was quite comprehensive. **Room**: The room was also very clean and the experience was very comfortable! No disappointments, which was a pleasant surprise. Overall, it's worth the price! Highly recommended! A genuine review!

Meiyi Hotel Wujiaochang (Fudan Management School Branch) in Shanghai is absolutely fantastic! The location is unbeatable, right near the metro station and conveniently situated next to shopping malls and universities. Our room featured panoramic windows, smart controls, a truly comfortable mattress, and the bathroom details were excellent. The staff provided incredibly warm and welcoming service, and the 24-hour book bar and gym were practical and much-appreciated amenities. We'll definitely be choosing this hotel again for our next visit!

Very close to Chifeng Road subway station and Shanghai University of Finance and Economics Zhongshan North 1st Road campus. Luggage storage is available at the front desk. There is also an ironing machine on the first floor. Takeaways are delivered by a delivery robot. It is very convenient👍

I booked this hotel for a concert at Hongkou Football Stadium. The price was great, and it's right next to the subway and bus stops. It's just one stop to Hongkou Football Stadium, where there are lots of food options. The front desk staff were very friendly and proactively upgraded my room when I checked in. The room was very quiet, bright, and had no strange smells. The room's cleanliness was satisfactory, though the toilet flush was a bit weak. The cleaning staff were also very nice, and the front desk even gave me a small gift when I checked out.
