Hotels in Dapuqiao Area, Shanghai

Pretty easy to get to by Metro Line 1 Hengshan Road station Exit 1 - about a 10 minute walk. Rooms are clean and comfortable with a light ikea/scandinavian type color wood design. Both breakfast and dinner buffets are large with high quality food and plenty of options for all tastes. Dinner also offers hotpot. Another review described the hotel as an 'Oasis' in the middle of Shanghai with quiet tree lined streets and garden in the back of the hotel. That is a very good description. The immediate area is calm and relaxed with not too many restaurants or shops - but with the subway nearby you can easily move around the city. Wonderful Xujiahui Park very close by. Xujiahui park is definitely worth a visit, it is beautiful. We had a relaxing and enjoyable 3 night stay here.

The service was beyond my expectation! I arrived quite late since I came across province (from Hangzhou) and need to prepare myself in order to travel to South Korea and Japan on the next day. So I planned to wash my clothes and repack my luggage here. When I arrived here, they asked a lot of questions in case I need anything. They even have a free dumpling soup (เกี๊ยวน้ำ) during 10-11 PM. I prepared my noodles cups to eat here at first since I researched that not many restaurant surrounded, so they helped my cooked the cup noodles with their coffee machine (for boiled water) and I can had them with free dumpling soups. Felt good! Washing machines are downstairs, I couldn’t used it since I had no Chinese numbers, so the receptionist helped me too, and the laundry is free here, too. So I can see many people had the dumpling soup while waiting for their laundry. Full of people in the lobby during 10-11 PM. Never expected to see this. The room was nice too. Not big but enough space, with a great view of Shanghai. Comfortable room with enough ventilation. I hope I can come back staying here again one day!

That’s the hotel I’ve stayed in Shanghai for my business trips since 2018. The location is very nice and convenient. The staff is really nice, even though they barely speak English but always ready to assist.

The hotel was great, especially when taking the price into consideration. Location was also very accessible from the train station with a metro stop only a short walk away. Only downside is that the bathroom in our room lacked privacy as the seat of the toilet was visible from the room.

The location is good, there are many restaurants around the area, the metro stop is close by when you arrive you may be confused because there are about 20 or so exits and some of the exits don't have an esklators , there are 3 lines that converg at the metro stop, even the locals get confused which way to exit, the rooms are clean, the staff is very curtious and very helpful, most of them don't speak English, I recommend you use a translator app, that helps out tremendously. Breakfast is sufficient, it is a mix of toast and mini croissants butter strawberry jelly and poached eggs and bacon and a piece of fruit with coffee or orange juice,or Chinese breakfast consisting of rice small salad with soup or porage Chinese boiled eggs etc. It is a minimalist breakfast, it is good and will keep you full till lunch.

The service was very good. Due to travel reasons, we delayed check-out and the front desk did not charge any fees.

Very friendly and helpful staff . Nice environment . They provide free laundry service(self service) Will be visit again . The staff said will provide free breakfast for next visit . The breakfast very nice !

The hotel room is spacious, the bedding is down, very comfortable, and I slept well. There is also a laundry room and a gym. The environment is elegant, there is a garden outside, and there are many parrots. The staff Xiaokai is very enthusiastic and the service is very good. It is very convenient to take the subway to Wukang Building and the First Congress Site. Free parking is available during the stay, which is highly recommended.

Very clean and spacious hotel room. Toilet and shower rooms are separated to allow privacy between 💩🚽 and🚿🪞. I love that it has a dressing table, with Dyson hair dryer, within the shower room. It provides complimentary snacks and bottled drinks. What i love the most is the portable JBL speaker - you can hang it anywhere you want and play your favourite playlist. The hotel staff are helpful and friendly.

Room is as described, pretty good just a tad small to open two luggages flat. Small sofa and chair was perfect for supper, they had a microwave oven too. Washer and dryer made things really convenient, just that it can get a bit loud. Xiaodu for the light settings were hard to configure and figure out, took us some time. Otherwise have to use the toilet in pitch black or bright lights in the middle of sleep. Cleanliness is alright, was still a little dusty. Cleaner comes and request to clean room even while occupied and still in use, but no issues for us. Would be great if there was a full length mirror.
