JI Hotel Hotels in Shanghai

Clean room with daily housekeeping. No doubt is a non-smoking hotel, there's guests continued to smoke within the hotel premises even though ”no smoking” notices are placed. The management may want to look into this. Breakfast was average. Allowed to take away for those in a hurry.

The building itself is bit old because it's a historical building. All the staffs were very very kind and helpful. One thing I want to mention is that, the floor that I stayed was all non-smoking room but the smoking smell was really strong. I doubt if someone was smoking in his room. The smell was soooo strong it was hard for me to breathe sometimes. And also since the floor is carpet, there is dust, it made me cough a lot, but I assume this is not a matter of cleaning... it's just because the rooms have carpets.

Great location with this price! clean and cozy to stay! (แนะนำเลย ใกล้รฟฟ ใกล้the bund แบบเดินได้ ห้องไม่เล๋ก แต่ก็ไม่ใหญ่ อยู่สบายๆ)

I stayed here for only 1 night. The downside is there was no entrance for car. I had 3 luggages and it was hard to move from the street to the hotel. The staffs don’t speak English, however, they are friendly and helpful. There is a guy who helped me with the clothes steamer was extremely nice. I’d like to stay there more :)

Overall I would say It’s 9/10 The location was good, I would say it is about than 5 mins walk from the metro which is totally fine for me. The lobby is on 9th floor, staffs were nice and kind but they don’t really speak english so please prepare your google translate ready! My room was bigger than i thought, we can have our 4 luggages on the floor and still got space to walk around.

Location: Superb. Just a 2min walk from Nanjing East MRT station and Pop Mart. We chose this hotel as we needed a short walking distance to MRT to get to Pudong Airport. Traffic can be quite bad so we didn’t want to get stuck taking a cab. Service: very fast and efficient. In wee hours 12am+, I had a few requests - asking for cotton buds, to help me with a new room key card, etc. I was served really quickly. There was only 1 staff at reception but she was capable and I didn’t have to wait long at all. Self service laundry was good! It has 2 sets of washers and dryers and also provide free detergent. Dryer was strong to dry all our clothes well! Bedroom: Clean and neat. We had twin single beds and were fine as our children are quite young to share beds with us. Comfortable stay. They have special teapot set which occupies our children in making tea for us. Staff: Honest with integrity. I left my earrings in the room and checked out. Thought they will be lost but I returned to the hotel and staff managed to find and give them back to me. Thank you so much! Breakfast: Simple local food (can do without or go opposite for MacDonald breakfast). Quick fix was ok for us as we needed time to pack our luggage and heading home. Overall, a great stay experience and we will return. Convenience + super clean room = 👍👍 A suggestion will be to allow guests to control the aircon. Even the weather is cold, we prefer to have our room cold instead of warm. The system was centralised and it didn’t allow us to change it. We felt abit hot when at night.

Very good location, a few minutes walk to Nanjing Road. There's a mini-mart and shops just outside the hotel. Towels are clean and charged every day. They even provide a small size slipper for our kid.

Very nice hotel in a central location of Shanghai. All the staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is new, The rooms are super nice, comfortable and very clean, and the bed is big and comfortable! I loved it!

We booked a family room for 3 adults. The room is slightly small for 3 adults but I think it fits perfectly well for 2 adults. Other than that, the hotel is clean and tidy. The only issue is a bit of distance to the subway stations, there are couple of station around the hotel. My friend and I we mostly cycling to the subway station.
