I didn't expect the early check in. My flight arrived Shanghai at 7 in the morning and I got to the hotel at 9.30, just wanted to drop baggages. They let us check in since 9.30, which was really good. The breakfast was okay, international + Chinese food. The door on the first floor close after 10pm so if you get back after that time, you need to climb up the stairs to the 2nd floor.

Location is fabulous in stylish Xintiandi, a great area for shopping & dining. Rooms are spacious, equipped with mood lighting, however I find it a bit dark for my liking. Bathroom has LED built mood lighting installed on the bathtub and one on the wash basin which feels a bit tacky. But hey, it’s not everyday you would see those kind of features in your bathroom.
Breakfast is good. Happy hour with free flow wine and champagne every evening at their lobby lounge are really appreciated.
The pool & gym on basement floor on the other hand feel a bit underwhelming.

Hotel is really clean and the decor is really nice. Stayed here quite a few times. Staff are helpful and will help you with any issues you have. Gym is good and has a indoor pool and steam room all of which are of good standard. Breakfast is ok but to be honest theres a-lot of breakfast spots nearby which I would recommend over the hotel. They do do alcohol and coffee in the hotel but like I say better options outside and the selection isn’t great at the hotel. Overall its not a bad place to stay I used to love it but the price has crept up over the last few years and its in the price range of better hotels now. It’s a really good hotel if you get a good deal on a price or actually if your getting off at Shanghai station and just want to get to your hotel quick. Overall not bad.

It was live-able and very spacious. Close to a lot of stores and restaurants should you want to do shopping. As for the alcoholic beverage lovers, it is right up your alley with tons of bars in the vicinity. However, there was somewhat an off setting odor of smoke. I could hear some noise from the room next door. Note that the mini bar in the room is an additional fee upon usage.

We enjoyed a one-night layover in Shanghai and selected this hotel due to its convenient location, making travel easy with Didi or the Maglev train. While we booked a Classic room, Ms. Meilinda graciously upgraded us to a Junior Suite, ensuring an exceptionally comfortable stay. We easily explored nearby malls on foot, enjoying both dinner and shopping. The hotel provided a delicious and well-prepared breakfast, and we slept soundly. We highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay here again. We extend our sincere thanks to all the hotel staff for their excellent service and making our trip memorable.

Advantages ∶
① Convenience: Close to Zhongshan Hospital,3-5 minutes walk. There are many restaurants around, including small fried, McDonald's, and canteen dishes. It is very convenient to go out to the Xishiduo convenience store, medical device store on the left hand side, and the Jingdong Pharmacy on the right hand side. The arched arcade structure, you don't need to go out with an umbrella on rainy days, it's super good.
② Service: The front desk, guest rooms, and maintenance departments respond quickly, communicate actively and smoothly, and can understand the needs of medical residents and be more flexible.
③ Facilities: The room area is relatively large, there are enough things to pack in hospital, sofa seats are available, it is more convenient to sit and lie down when you don't sleep.
The air conditioning power is large, the response is fast, and there is no smell. During the stay, I have seen the aunt do filter cleaning in other rooms.
The bathroom has smooth water, no leakage, and the shower water flow is large.
The windows of the room are large and have two floors. The outer layer is equipped with safety buckles. The inner layer has screen windows. Safety and ventilation are guaranteed. When both floors are closed, the sound of emergency vehicles at night can basically be overcome.
The elevator needs to be swiped to get to the designated floor, which is very safe.
The corridor is clean, well ventilated and bright.
To be improved: furniture is a bit old, wardrobe is narrow, and winter clothes are not enough.
Ordinary queen room does not have a refrigerator and does not provide body lotion.
Some stains in the trash can cannot be cleaned through cleaning, it is recommended to replace them.

KKaydenfypAbsolutely stunning place to be in.
Hotel is very near Yu Gardens and Cheng Huang Miao. The nearest train station is just about 10-15 mins walk, very convenient.
Housekeeper were very attentive and helped to clean our room everyday, spotless 👍🏻
Receptionists were friendly and always never fails to greet all the guest.
Definitely recommend this place for all fellow travellers 👍🏻
RReiseplanerThis hotel is a gem. The location is perfect (less than a 5 minute walk to the nearest metro station and plenty of coffee and restaurant options in the area; count ~1.5h to and from PVG airport), the room and shared facilities (bonus point for the toilet paper that is better than many 4-star and 5-star hotels) are spotless clean, the bed is comfortable (different pillows are even provided), and the price/value ratio is almost unbeatable. There is even free tea and drinking water available.
Please note that having taken the upper bed window room, packing a bag can be a challenge compared to the lower bed one I imagine. Also, all usb ports available are USB A.
Few points can be improved: the windows let a flow of air coming in even if closed (the duvet is warm though), a little usb bed light would be useful (as it is not convenient to turn off the lights once in bed, have to do it before), the tv didn’t work in my case but that wasn’t an issue for me, the towels are disposable and normal towels would be a huge plus (pack a small towel should you want one), and lastly, whilst there’s no noise permeating in-between rooms, corridor movements can be easily heard (nothing that earplugs cannot solve).
Overall 10/10.
RRokkenI had a generally good stay at Mia Hotel. Good service and staff. If you have chance to stay and your sleep is very light don’t get a room close to the elevator – the aisle is very narrow and you can hear easily people chatting when they get in and off. The place overall is a nice, the neighbour is great and you can’t find probably such a place like this one in the area.
SSopheakimphinWhen it comes to accommodation the first thing I’ll check is about the negatives review of the host. But then I saw almost every hotels have a negative review! So I mean, no one is perfect right ! The next thing we do, we just go for the Pearl view one. My wife and I decided to stay in this hotel, man oh man, we’ve made the right choice. Everything is perfect. It worth the price so when you consider coming to China and looking for accommodation please check this place out! anyway thanks so much to Rosy, one of the receptionist who gave answers that’s helped a lot!
Ps: gotta try their breakfast and afternoon tea set!
LLuis AlbertoTitle: Comfortable Stay with Room for Improvement
During our recent one-night stay at the Novotel Shanghai Pudong Chuansha, my wife, our 7-year-old daughter, and I experienced both positive aspects and areas that could benefit from enhancement.
Buffet Options:
The breakfast buffet offered a satisfactory selection of dishes, including both local and international cuisines. While the variety was adequate, we felt that the quality and freshness of some items could be improved. Our daughter enjoyed the pastry section, though it lacked some of the diversity we’ve encountered in other hotels.
Amenities:
The hotel provides standard amenities suitable for families. Our room was clean and comfortable, featuring modern furnishings.
Service:
The front desk staff were courteous and efficient during check-in and check-out.
Location:
The hotel’s proximity to Shanghai Disneyland is a significant advantage for families planning to visit the park. However, we found that transportation options to other parts of the city were somewhat limited, making it less convenient for broader sightseeing.
Overall Experience:
Our stay at the Novotel Shanghai Pudong Chuansha was comfortable, and the hotel adequately met our basic needs. However, there is room for improvement in areas such as amenity availability and service responsiveness. With some enhancements, the hotel has the potential to offer a more satisfying experience for families.
MMeikoHAfter experiencing the luxurious service and comfortable facilities of Senz Hotel, I can't help but give high praise to this hotel and their management team, as well as Yiko of the front desk.
Senz Hotel, from the moment you step into the lobby, you will feel at home. The lobby is modern and culturally rich, spacious and elegant, and the staff is very warm and thoughtful, and their professional and meticulous service attitude makes people admire. The accommodation environment here is spacious and quiet, which makes people completely relax and feel rare comfort and tranquility.
However, what impressed me most was the management team of Senz. They won our respect with excellent management and professional service. From the overall operation of the hotel to the details, whether it is room service, catering service or other needs, they can get a quick and satisfactory response. This efficient and energetic team ensured that every need of ours was met, bringing us an excellent accommodation experience.
Next is Estilo Restaurant. The food here is simply amazing! From the diversity and characteristics of the menu to the chef's superb cooking skills, to the delicious dishes, everything is amazing. Moreover, their service is first-rate, from pre-meal preparation to post-meal finishing, every link is well organized and meticulous. Whether it is a gathering with friends or a business banquet, Estilo Restaurant is an ideal choice. Special thanks to Mr. Noel and Charles for their hospitality.
As for Ivy at the Spa, her professional skills and friendly service are unforgettable. Her massage techniques are skillful and in place, which makes me feel extremely relaxed and relieved after a busy work. Ivy is extremely sensitive to the needs of each guest and can accurately provide the most appropriate SPA services. Her professional knowledge and enthusiastic service made my experience in the Spa reach the extreme.
Overall, Senz Hotel, Estilo Restaurant and the Spa have provided us with excellent service and experience. Whether it is the facilities, services or the professionalism of the management team, I am deeply satisfied. I highly recommend Senz Hotel and Estilo Restaurant to all friends who are looking for high-quality services and food, and I would also like to thank Ivy for the meticulous SPA service she provided us. I look forward to visiting Senz Hotel and Estilo Restaurant again to experience their excellent service and food again.

GGuest UserThe room was amazing with a stunning view. On the whole it was a fantastic stay but there were one or two issues- 1. The yoga mats in the gym were filthy. And 2. I was bothered on a few occasions by cleaners or people coming to knock on the door e.g.the cleaner came inside the room even though I said it was too late and I didn't want the room to be cleaned now. It was around 5pm and no one had cleaned the room during the day, but by that time I was ready to relax. There was a language barrier so she just came in and started replacing snacks and drinks and tried to start cleaning up in the bathroom and I had to ask her to leave. I noticed before I left that there was a button for 'do not disturb' but it wasn't obvious so it would be good for the staff to mention that when showing you to your room. I also think it's a good idea for them to have a book with information regarding the restaurant, gym, spa etc.etc. there's some info on the TV but it isn't very detailed.
GGuest UserQuite hard to communicate with the receptionist and staff at the hotel, but some of them were really nice.
Hotel room was small but clean, they change our towel every day.
Breakfast is the same menu for almost everyday, but enough spread from rice, noodles, wonton, bread, coffee.
Location very convenient, near east nanjing road metro station. Close to the bund.
BBee PohI recently had the pleasure of staying at your esteemed hotel, and I wanted to express my gratitude for the wonderful experience. The facilities were top-notch, and every aspect of my stay was truly enjoyable. However, what made my stay particularly memorable was the exceptional service provided by your front desk staff member, Yuki.
Yuki's warm welcome, attentiveness, and willingness to assist with any request made a significant difference in my overall experience. Her professionalism and friendly demeanor ensured that I felt valued and well-cared for throughout my stay.
This is the third times I came to Shanghai. So far this is the Best Hotel and Location.
FFamPlanFirst of all 5 stars to Peng Ho (何鹏) service, very helpful and proactive, helped with us during check in and when leaving the hotel with 🧳 and getting our ride to the airport.
Also 5 stars for another lady helped with our check in, she let me viewed a few rooms as I wasn't exactly sure about my stay, she prepared a welcome fruit platter for us.
The hotel is quite wore off, l9bby seemed ok, but once in elevator, corridors all appeared wore off and not clean, then the room arranged for us is full of smell, moldy and smokes, the room we settled is not as smelly, but still found stains, dirt etc in the room, I have especially requested a well cleaned and dusted room before check in due to allergies. Since t was our last stop of a 2+ weeks vacation plus it's only one night so we didn't move, if it is at the beginning or staying longer, I would've moved hoteldue to the first impression of elevator /corridor and room,I was tired that didn't even take picture of the room, our room was facing some old neighborhood, no scenery at all, plus it's noisy in the morning around 6, noises from heavy machinery.
But location is quite convenient, walking distance to the Bund, took us about 20 minutes walk to reach the starting point of the Bund.
