The customer service was excellent and there is a very nice breakfast buffet. The location is a little far from most things, but it is easy and inexpensive to get a taxi. There is a McDonald's, Sam's Club deli, and a Starbucks right next door. The room was very spacious, clean, and well stocked. The front desk staff was extremely helpful with everything from getting a taxi to ordering food. It's very good value for the money.

Manage to book the hotel through Trip although after a few search on Agoda. Price was reasonable. We were delighted with the cleaninese of the rooms. The amenities was limited, there was some small restaurant around the corner. Noises can be heard from inside the rooms from people walking along the corridor.

When going to visit Lingang, the hotels near Haichang Park and Ice and Snow World were a little more expensive, so I chose Kaiyuan Hotel. The hotel is suitable for self-driving. Public transportation is not very convenient, so it is recommended to drive there. The interior of the hotel is very large, you can take a walk, and there are colorful fountains to watch at night. The guest room is very clean. I heard that the hotel has been open for many years but the hardware of the room is still very good. The noodles and wontons for breakfast are great, and there are many other varieties. I will choose Kaiyuan next time I have the chance.

The hotel is not the newest but the service is very good. I especially want to praise Wang Wei, Cui Ying, and the cleaning lady on the 10th floor. They are all very warm and friendly. The suite is large, with a bedroom, a living room, and a balcony. There is a shower, a bathtub, 2 toilets, and 3 basins. The most important thing is that the shower water is very large. It is very comfortable for three people to live together. There are beautiful fireworks shows every night during the Chinese New Year (probably set off by guests eating at the restaurant next door). The breakfast buffet is not luxurious but has everything you need. The red soup noodles and wontons are good. I decided to come again next year!

It takes about 30 minutes to get to Dongtan, Chongming City and Dongping Forest Park, which is suitable for driving. The overall cost performance is very high, and the breakfast is also rich.
