Hotel location is the best place to travel to Shanghai. The hotel staff service is excellent, too In particular, a Chinese employee named William responded very kindly. The night view of Shanghai Waitan from the hotel room is also fantastic The hotel's interior facilities are not very impressive. The bedding was good, but the facility felt too old. However, it was a pleasant trip to Shanghai because of the friendly staff's service.

Great location, view, breakfast and gym. The room is well heated and clean, staff is friendly and hotel very luxurious. I think it’s one of the best hotels you can book for your business trip or vacation in Shanghai. Metro is also closed and there’s a fancy ifc shopping mall that can be reached in 5 min walk. Lovely

I’ve stayed at this hotel a number of times for business trips to Shanghai and it’s always a great experience. Big room, clean, staff are very helpful and friendly. I didn’t add breakfast to my room this time but it is worth adding if you stay, it’s a great spread. It’s also an easy walk to lots of great restaurants and bars including the French quarter. Highly recommend if you come to Shanghai for business or pleasure.

Yet, despite its aged aesthetic, the hotel is immaculately maintained and thoughtfully curated. Every corner tells a story, and there’s a quiet beauty in its timeworn textures and peaceful ambiance. Service was warm and attentive, with staff who made me feel genuinely welcome and went out of their way to ensure my comfort. My room was cozy, well-appointed, and tastefully designed to reflect the historic atmosphere while offering all the modern amenities I needed. The atmosphere throughout the hotel was serene, offering a perfect retreat from the bustle of the city. Whether I was enjoying tea in the tranquil courtyard or simply admiring the vintage touches in the hallway, I felt relaxed and inspired. Highly recommended for travelers looking for something beyond the typical hotel stay—this place is more than a place to sleep; it’s an experience in itself.

The hotel location was great, leads right out onto Nanjing Road, very convenient. The service by staff was standard, nothing exceptional. The breakfast was western, which was great but very expensive considering the selection. Before checking in I confirmed with the hotel for a birthday cake, as it was a birthday stay, they confirmed but did not deliver it which was very disappointing, I expected much more considering they had agreed beforehand, I called and requested again while I was checked in but still nothing was delivered which was really disappointing!

If you are looking for a kids hotel near Disney land or airport. This will be a perfect choice. The guesthouse has a swimming pool with a slide and carousel for small children. The rooms are also pretty arranged for kids and family. The personal is very friendly. They offer transfer service for dinner or shopping near Disney land without charge. There are a few things needs be mentioned: the swimming pool is slippery, also the entry over a glass wall is not easy and could be dangerous for kids. The step way and balcony in house is also not safe for kids. The breakfast could be improved as well. No free coffee, tee, Jogurt and butter are offered.

Convenient Stay Near the Airport I stayed at this hotel unexpectedly due to a delayed flight, and I was pleasantly surprised. I booked through an app and was able to check in right away without any issues. The hotel is quite large with plenty of rooms, and the price was reasonable. The room was comfortable, and overall the stay was very convenient — I could walk from the terminal in just a few minutes. It’s a solid choice if you need a place to stay near the airport, especially in a pinch.

My stay at the property was satisfactory overall. A notable positive aspect was the consistent daily housekeeping service, which ensured the room remained clean and well-maintained throughout my stay.   However, I would like to highlight an issue with the laundry facilities. While a laundry room is available, the drying area is excessively cramped, resembling an overcrowded walk-in closet—particularly on weekends. This congestion led to other guests moving my belongings disrespectfully, often resulting in incomplete drying of my clothes. To improve guest experience, I recommend expanding the drying capacity or implementing better organization and etiquette guidelines, especially during peak times.   The breakfast provided was functional but limited in variety, offering only basic Western options. For a more satisfying dining experience, I suggest exploring the surrounding neighborhood, which boasts a diverse selection.

Cleaness not too good, but the Service from homestay owner is magnificent. Fast response and so kind service....the homestay itself it's quite good and comfortable.it's just on a third floor with stairs, so like me with big and more than one baggage is quite tasking to lift it up to third floor. Location about 300meters from Shanxi South metro station.

Excellent location—just a few steps from Raffles City, a great mall that’s also conveniently connected to the metro system. You can hop on the green line and go straight to the airport for only RMB 7.00! The room was clean and spacious, and I especially loved the thick, fresh towels. The front desk staff didn’t speak English, but they made up for it with 110% effort and warm service. I’ll definitely stay here again the next time I visit Shanghai!
