The hotel is located on the lakeside of Shanghai Fish Scenic Area, with an excellent location. Fengbo, Jiukeshu, Bubble Park and other attractions are all within easy reach. The hotel's free upgraded lake view room is pleasing to the eye. A family of three can enjoy the lake view, work on the computer, read books and watch TV series, and drink tea on the balcony. The hotel service is warm and responsive. Requests for an extra set of toiletries, mineral water, afternoon tea packing, late check-out, etc. can all be met. The robot takeaway delivery service is also cordial and thoughtful. In short, this is an ideal choice for weekends in Fengxian to relax!

Research always located in a heart of Shanghai right near the Nanjing pedestrian Street. Absolutely 10 out of 10 full location when approaching the hotel you can see that it is and obviously very old Building however it does have refurbished room so be careful which ones you book I indeed booked a refurbished room and it was quite New important to know that the rooms are quite small so if you have certain requirements for the size of the room, please take that into consideration. I would stay here again however it is not the most luxury hotel by any means the breakfast buffet is very average and located towards Chinese people and does not have many foreign options.

The hotel service is exceptional. Calling for room service was quick and the staff are very polite and friendly. The bed are very clean and you have the option of choosing the type of pillow you want. Location is fantastic as it is near the main shopping street. Besides it is a subway which makes travelling around so convenient. Highly recommend this hotel if you are visiting Shanghai.

This is the 3rd stay of ours since June when we actually did stay twice. Being impressed therefrom, we decided to stay again in this impressive hotel this time. Location is excellent and so are the services in general. All staff are friendly and helpful. We would not hesitate to recommend to friends to stay in this good hotel whenever they have a chance to go to Shanghai.

For a small hotel, the room is pretty big! The breakfast buffet was impressive but what was inconvenient were the stairs in between rooms. However being a heritage building it is understandable as they tried to keep most of the facets. The staff were extremely helpful with my luggage and I noticed a majority of them were female! I felt safe and taken care of here as a solo female traveler!

Long established as one of the first batch of luxury hotels in Shanghai, Okura Garden Hotel retains its charm and quality. I am particularly impressed by the service and staff's readiness to help. When I checked in, I had a bit confusion and picked a room in which inconvenient to add an extra bed for my son. The front desk staff didn't hesitate to assist and went out of their way to show me alternative rooms, to ensure that my needs satisfactorily were met. I would no doubt choose Garden Hotel when visiting Shanghai next time.

One of my favorite hotels in Shanghai is Pullman Shanghai Jingan. I visited Shanghai three times in 2024 and stayed in various hotels, including both local accommodations and international hotel chains. I would say that Pullman Shanghai Jingan is ideally located for travelers who commute by train and want to stay in the heart of the city while avoiding the crowds of Nanjing Road. The breakfast was fantastic, and the service was exceptional. This is a 5-star hotel, and it truly lives up to its rating. As for the amenities, you need to request them at the front desk. Once requested, they are promptly provided. I would definitely return to this hotel if I visit China again.

Conrad hotel in Shanghai is in the center of Shanghai walking distance to the train station, to the famous Nanjing road. There is no other major five star hotel with excellent location than The Conrad Shanghai. Customer service is great, very flexible to check in and check out. Nice lounge bar at the top of the hotel offering free drinks 🍷

Additionally, the pillows in my room had a strong, unpleasant odor. Even after changing the pillowcases, the smell persisted. Thankfully, I was able to find one pillow without the odor, which I used for the duration of my stay, but this issue really impacted my comfort. Lastly, for those sensitive to noise, I would not recommend this hotel. The cleaners were quite loud while working, and the room insulation is poor, allowing you to hear everything happening around you. For a hotel in this price range, I expected better soundproofing solutions. While the service and room quality are typically excellent, I believe these issues should be addressed to provide a better experience

Staff are very nice despite some minor communication issues (language barriers). Clean and large room with separate wet and dry areas. A big plus for very comfy bed and good quality shampoo!! Housekeeping was daily and was generous with the minibar fill-up. I mostly took videos so here are the views from the room (2-3) and from the elevator area (1).
