The hotel is in a very convenient location, and it is easy to get in and out by taxi. The riverside park at the door has nice scenery. It is a good place for a walk. The restaurant dishes are delicious, allowing guests to taste local specialties. The restaurant private rooms are super luxurious, the rooms are clean and sanitary, the bedding is comfortable, and the service is warm

This hotel is really nice for facilities, beauty and especially service. The hotel staff name Vivi, Ann, and the others always give me good advice for anything I ask and respond so quickly. Location is great, center of everything you need. Breakfast are delicious. They also allow early check-in and late check-out. I am so impressed. Recommended!!

I stayed in the suite at this hotel. It was a great and very comfortable stay. Everything about the suite was elegant and built for comfort. The hotel has a restaurant that makes delicious Yunnan inspired dishes. The yak stew and the potato dishes were especially good. The staff was nice and friendly although language presented a barrier. (Thankfully there are translation apps.). The pool was a little weird though. It's presented more like a pond in the middle of the hotel rooms. There seems to be only one access point to the pool and there is zero seating. Its rimmed by plants and trees. Very strange. But thats the only criticism of the hotel. Everything else meets and exceeds expectations of a hotel. And its within walking distance of the old town.

Thanks to her thoughtful recommendations and meticulous planning, I was able to explore the magnificent Songzanlin Monastery, as well as other scenic spots that showcased the unique beauty of the region. The hotel’s facilities were outstanding, with spacious, elegantly designed rooms that provided stunning views of the surrounding mountains. The dining options were equally impressive, offering a mix of local ******* flavors and international cuisine. The staff throughout the resort were warm, welcoming, and always eager to help, adding to the overall exceptional experience. Staying at Shangri-La Resort was a highlight of my journey, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the region. With its perfect combination of luxury, comfort, and deep cultural immersion, this resort is truly a gem in the alluring town of Shangri-La. Had a very good stay at Tina's! We hiked the gorge in 2 days and Tina helped us beforehand with questions and logistics. Also arranged for our luggage to be brought there so we didn't have to take that with us! Very good food and reasonably prices. The views are amazing and the rooms are modern clean and big. Would stay again! Make sure to add Tina on wechat so you can get some information from her if you need to.

A simple yet sufficient accomodation option. We stayed in the middle of the town on our first two days in Shangri-la, which we found to be a bit noisy during the night time. Then we found this place, like some others mentioned, 5 minutes walking distance from the town square (四方街）yet secluded enough to give us the quietness much needed during night time. The owner 仁德君 is also a very helpful person. Overall, I would recommend this place if you are looking for conveniency, and quietness, a place with great views yet not too pricey, then this is definitely the go to place.

This long standing guesthouse is a must stay in many ways if you are visiting Tiger Leaping Gorge - with outstanding views and definitely a perfect location for staying the second night if you are walking the gorge over 3 days. The bedrooms are large and clean and warm. The hotel staff are very helpful both in person and over WeChat - especially when you are doing the gorge walk and want some help with directions. There are great drinks in the bar including local craft beer. A few things that we would note though. Firstly given the price of the room, there absolutely should be real bath towels instead of very unsatisfactory disposable ones. Secondly I do not recommend booking the most expensive top floor rooms because the noise that comes through the roof from the upstairs area (bar/coffee shop/terrace) is very bad and constant (including waking us up in the morning). You would get just as good a view from the lower level rooms but without the terrible noise. Lastly it would be nice if the restaurant included a few western food options for lunch and dinner - the Chinese food we had was great but tired international tourists (and there are more and more of us!) often want comfort food after a long day’s hike.

I saw reviews online saying that the boss was very nice, so I placed an order. When we arrived at the station, the boss came to pick us up in person. The boss is really nice, warm and friendly, and takes the initiative to introduce Shangri-La tour routes. It also specifically explains the regional environment and safety. We are going to charter a car for a tour the next day. The boss contacted the car rental company to reserve a vehicle. The next day, the tourist spots were sent to the driver’s mobile phone and he sent us to the car. I wish the boss a full customer base and more and more prosperity.

The hotel is in good location. Right in the middle of the Shangrila Oldtown. The room is spacious and love the heated blanket and also central heating that the hotel has. However, if you’ve luggages, it’s quite difficult for you as the route to the hotel needs to go through all the stones (uneven) like road. You can easily go to this hotel if you don’t have big luggages. The staff won’t really help you, as for me, during the check in only they were there. But for check out, they were not in the lobby, so, we couldn’t ask for their help. We had to drag our luggages about 500m to the taxi area. The toilet got pipe so, easy to do the washing! Really Love it! But, there’s unpleasant smell during our stay. It’s kind of disturbing. The staff was quite helpful. We could leave our luggages after check out too. Overall, it was a good stay even there were some hurdles. Thank you!
