Shantou Hotels with Bars

The impression was we booked 4 rooms and we got all on the same floor, adjacent to one another. The twin room bed was 4 ft size - loved it. The location was perfect, close to two shopping malls and lots of restaurants nearby. The gym and swimming pool were great too. The minus was only the air conditioner was not sufficiently cool in some of our rooms, and it couldn't go colder even we adjusted the lowest temperature.

Hotel is good with the location around 40min from downtown. Room was clean and spacious, we really liked it. Its very clean with decent breakfast. Amenities are bit outdated, like swimming pool. There are many outside guests using hotel's resources... The last thing to mention is the staff which was really great, from guards, front office, housekeeping or waiters everyone was very kind and trying to make your stay great...

My go to hotel in Shantou. An older hotel that is ageing gracefully. Great location, friendly service, lovely rooms and car parking

Hotel was previously known as Meritus, location is near 2 shopping complexes just a short 10 min walk away, only sad thing is furniture look a little tired after years without major renovation, breakfast is ok with lot of choices catering to both locals & foreigners.

My wife and I stayed at the hotel for 2 nights and it has been pleasant indeed. The staff at the reception desk, Daisy, Rita, Ivy and Ella were very helpful. The bell boy, Wesley Xie was exceptional as he paid first for our Didi taxi ride out of his own electronic purse without pressing or reminding us to reimburse him. The front desk manager, without disclosing his name went out of his way to exchange hkd200 for us, using his own Rmb cash on our day of departure. This saved us the trouble for going to the Bank of China for Forex Exchange. Overall, this hotel 's staff served us with the attitude: Customer is the king.

I went to Shantou on a business trip some time ago and stayed at Longhu Hotel. The overall experience was good. 🏨Location: The hotel is in an excellent location, right in the city center. There are all kinds of food, drink and entertainment around it. You can find various food stores and shopping malls within a few minutes' walk. It is also convenient to travel, whether it is taking a taxi or taking a bus. 🛏️Room: The room is warmly decorated, clean and tidy, the bed is comfortable, and I sleep very well. Although the facilities are not particularly new or modern, they are well maintained, and there are all they should have, and there is no problem with using them. 🍱Dining: There are rich varieties of breakfast, including local specialties, as well as common bread and porridge, which can meet the taste needs of different people. 💁♂️Service: The front desk check-in and check-out are very fast, the staff is enthusiastic, and any problems can be solved in time, which makes people feel very considerate. The only drawback is that the appearance of the hotel looks a bit old, but this does not affect the stay experience inside. Overall, the cost performance is very high, and I will consider staying here next time I come to Shantou.

The hotel room is very beautiful and you can see the yacht sailing. The hotel can see many Diamond League athletes, and it is very good to take pictures. Manager Liu of the concierge service is great. He knows that we are going to see the Diamond League and actively provides us with paper towels. He is very enthusiastic and very enthusiastic. We also sent Xiamen specialties to us when we checked out. Very nice hotel, perfect experience

The overall experience is very average. The front desk has no expression and no service at all. There is only one elevator, and it is difficult to wait for the elevator during peak hours. The hygiene and facilities in the room are also average, and the shower water is hot and cold. Compared with the above, the breakfast is exceptionally good. The restaurant is not big but has a full range of varieties. I give it a good review. And the security uncle in the parking lot needs a big praise! He is polite and responsible, and arranges the small parking lot in the backyard in an orderly manner. It can be said that he has saved the service of this hotel by himself…

Great hotel, both the facilities and the professionalism of the staff, is to be praised. Services at the front desk reception is excellent and the staff are attentive and strike to provide extra assistances to guest such as helping us to purchase a traditional gift from the local market and booking taxi for ud to the rail station upon check out. Services at the breakfast area can be improved to be more polite and attentive with smiles to match the front desk. Smiling and attentiveness will bring the hotel quality to the next level of a 5 star boutique hotel.

There is a large parking space outside the hotel. Not only is it free but there is a security guard to lead the parking. The hotel lobby is very luxurious. After the check-in at the front desk, I went up from the elevator next to it. The front desk helped us upgrade the room. After entering the room, I found that it was more spacious. The overall look is simple and warm, I like this hotel very much, will come again next time!
