Beautiful stay at the resort , the staff were just amazing from the reception to the restaurant, helped us beyond their call of duty even ensuring our little one get some food from our day at the beach .
The hotel is a little old though and furniture needs a change in the rooms

it was the second time I stayed at Mombasa Continental Resort, great location amazing staff , you really feel like home . Thanks look forward to be your guest again.

Very dirty, very bad
There were other people's long hair in the room. The shower area was not only dirty, but the floor was also very slippery, which was a big safety hazard. The corners were covered with mold and slippery colored things.
The refrigerator was very dirty and old, with rust.
The mango juice for the hotel breakfast was not fresh and spoiled mangoes. My companion and I couldn't drink it.
The attitude of the restaurant staff was OK,
The attitude of the front desk was very average.
There was a phenomenon of random charges: 2 people checked in and asked to add 600+ RMB (I was traveling in the peak season, and the room rate of this hotel has almost tripled compared to usual. The price difference for two people in the off-season is only about 100 yuan)
The front desk was not soft on tips, and when it came to making up the price difference, it was completely random, without any basis or standard.

We visited from the 27/11/2024 to 3/12/2024 and were a family of 6. We were welcomed with a glass of cold juice which was delicious after our long journey. We had 3 rooms next to each other on the 2nd floor. There were few issues with our rooms and after complaining this to the management, the relation manager (Patricia), improved our stay enormously. We were moved to the 3rd floor whereby the rooms were more modern. Patricia gave us her direct mobile number in case we had further issues. Our stay was full inclusive and there were plenty of food choices. The hotel is next to the beach and we enjoyed the walks and relaxation by the pool, camel, boats and jetski rides were available at additional costs. The staff were super friendly especially the catering staff though felt some of the reception staff and chamber maids could be better trained. Two of our family members had birthday parties which exceeded our expectations. We are travellers and have visited many countries around the world but this celebrations were absolutely exceptional. We enjoyed the dancing, the cakes, the meals and what a lovely surprise on our last day. It always put smiles on our faces and we will forever cherish the memories. On our last day when we came downstairs for our last meal, Patricia and the staff had decorated a table near the beach and next to the swimming pool whereby we indulged in delicious sea food, what a lovely evening! Thank you Mombasa continental. We definitely recommend this hotel and we will be back.
