Stay Date: October 2024 Room Type: Standard Twin Room Rating: 1/5 I booked a two-night stay at Crystal Plaza Hotel through Booking for my wife and child. This was an utterly distressing and unacceptable experience. I had called the hotel beforehand and messaged them to explain the situation: my wife was in the UAE to obtain a visa from the Latvian Embassy in Abu Dhabi, and her passport had been submitted to VFS for processing. I informed the hotel in advance that she would not have her physical passport. When my wife arrived to check in, she presented her UAE visa as an identification document with her photograph, showed soft copies of her passport, and provided the VFS receipt confirming that the passports were submitted for visa processing. The hotel staff behaved rudely and completely refused to cooperate. They did not even allow her to check in. They did not issue any refund. They did not offer any alternative solution. They simply turned my wife and child away. My wife was in distress, stranded in a foreign country with our child. I had to scramble to find last-minute accommodation for them, which was extremely difficult and stressful. The hotel’s refusal to honor the booking, despite all the documentation provided, caused us significant emotional and financial harm. I am formally requesting compensation for this ordeal. If I do not receive a satisfactory response, I will file an official complaint with the Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority (SCTDA) and the UAE Ministry of Economy and Tourism . I have retained all evidence, including communication records with the hotel, the VFS receipt, and documentation of the last-minute accommodation expenses I incurred. I strongly advise against booking this hotel, especially if you have any special circumstances regarding identification documents. Their staff lacks basic professionalism, empathy, and any willingness to help guests in difficult situations.

The workers were very nice so can't complain, they also upgraded my room and helped me out parking the big suv I had in their spot. Recommended for a night or two!

The place is silent, beautiful and nice. I will love to visit there once again 🥰

This was a terrible accommodation booking. The female Filipino receptionist was awful. She behaved terribly. I booked the hotel for my friend. I told her I was going up to talk to her and pick up the souvenirs she bought. I know the rules of the place; I wasn't there to sleep, just to talk to my friend who was visiting for the first time. The receptionist called my room to tell me to come out. I checked the time; it was only 30 minutes. She repeatedly emphasized that it was a rule of the hotel. I know. Couldn't we just come up and chat with friends and make plans for tomorrow? And I swear to God, I will never book this hotel again. It was awful. The worst thing that's ever happened to me.

Disappointing stay at Crystal Plaza Hotel Al Nud, branch. The hotel did not provide basic necessities. There was no drinking water, the bed was uncomfortable, and even the towels were insufficient for two guests. No kettle or tea/coffee facilities were provided, which is a basic expectation.

The service is okay apart from the missing of the teapot in the room, the food is nice and at an affordable price. The environment is quite I like

Building a bit old and furniture too.....No water bottles given..Room not as I expected but ok.
