Island View Resort

This time I went to Egypt for my birthday celebration. I read reviews before that and had some concerns about the service, but it was completely in vain! Yes, the room stock needs renovation, but these photo reviews are publicly available, that is, when you mainly go to the sea, there are secondary things, you need to understand this. All the advantages are more than compensate some minuses (which is only non-new rooms). So the undeniable advantages of this hotel are the following:  1. Service! I received even more than was expected! I was worried for nothing, my birthday was wonderful, compliments in the room, the birthday cake, wonderful staff everywhere in the hotel. I especially want to note the reception manager Tamer - all my comments were taken into account and implemented almost instantly! Great job, I'm very grateful to you for the wonderful room✨  Daily cleaning, changing towels, water is present. This wonderful room decoration was such a pleasant surprise for me! Thank to the housekeeping manager Khaled abd elaziz, it was one more point for my mood up during my stay here😊 On the day of departure, I forgot to order a car for luggage at the reception, because the transfer was very early. I only asked the guide about the transfer time. Imagine my surprise when they called me in the morning to ask if the luggage was ready and if they could pick it up! Thank you for your attention to details🫶 Even I myself missed this moment... This all is about Service here. 2. The Sea! It is unsurpassed. The first coastline. Its own coral reef is simply teeming with fish of different varieties and sizes. While resting in Egypt, I saw such diversity for the first time!  I went to the airport with tourists from other hotels - everyone was, unfortunately, disappointed with the reef in their hotels. But here - it's just a treasure, not just the sea. If you wish, you can order diving (even with a photo), everything is on the hotel beach. I didn't see the point in even going on any excursions. 3. Food. Varied, fish and meat of different types every day. There was also seafood. Always fresh salads, stewed vegetables, several types of side dishes, sweets, fruits, berries, wonderful delicious pastries and cakes are there. You definitely won't stay hungry, I guarantee you. Everything is tasty and fresh. Excellent coffee from the machine and good alcohol. The restaurant staff is wonderful, very responsive, even if there are no seats - they will find it for you, ask if everything is okay, bring the drinks you want and how much you want. 4. Atmosphere.  You can feel the level of the hotel, its history, wonderful music, unobtrusive animation, I simply felt aesthetic pleasure from this relaxing enveloping atmosphere of the hotel. The territory is well-groomed, green, neat.  5. On the last day of my stay, I wanted to buy myself some perfume, it turned out that the hotel has a perfume shop, where the wonderful Ruby works - a master of his craft. He chose exactly the

Poor reception services Restaurant staff is extremely rude and unfriendly Food quality is awful and not tasty Sandy beach and clean pools yet the sun beds are deteriorated. Snacks are far away from as if they don’t wants guests to get served. Will not recommend it to any of my friends

The hotel realy needs renovation, at first deep clean would be great, there is mold and black spots in shower. Some stuff is very helpful and nice (especially Hashem in main restaurant, snacks bar chef and fatir chef) At receptions works grumpy guys. Cleaning not at the top (one day no toilet paper, didt change sheets) In november the pool water was cold, sun beds not in the best shape. Lifeguards always whistle and talk to each other very loud. Wifi at reception is very slow, so need to buy your card. Evening shows are very cheap looking, animation team seems tired (girls working with kids) Food normal, but sometimes cold. Al a carte experience was great. Staf is always shouting to each other orders, or talking very loud. Wont come back here, wont recomend.

Nice place with great beach view my suite was beautiful, staff friendly i was very happy with Mr said (manager) he treated us very very very good he made sure we were happy , food was good lots of choices from meat to salads to desserts Very happy over all Thank you staff

I want to write a separate review about the animation at the hotel. Great animation made our vacation very bright. The animators held interesting events and games. We liked the evening shows at the amphitheater, Egyptian folklore, belly dancing, fire show and so on. The animators were very friendly and helpful, always trying to maintain an atmosphere of fun and joy. We had a great time, we hope to come again.

We reached the hotel at noon but we met the worst reception they took more than 2 hours in check in asking for birth certificate of the kids although they were adults not free really they are rude turned our mood bad The hotel lobby really luxury Rooms are old but clean with good AC Buffet was good and service team were really helpful good persons The beach was beautiful but don't expect something unique in coral reef the offer snacks on the beach But the beach shut down at 6 pm very early !!! Animation team not bad Its the second and last visit to island view the cheep price is not reason to treat guests in this way
