Naama Inn Hotel

We booked a standard double room on Booking for 3 nights 12/01/22-12/04/22 for $119 with breakfast and dinner without prepayment, payment upon check-in. We arrived at the hotel at 5 am, checked in with an extra charge of $15 for early check-in and breakfast. The room was given on the 2nd floor on the terrace overlooking the promenade. The room was large, there was a working air conditioner, a kettle and a TV. There is no hairdryer. In the bathroom there is soap and shampoo with shower gel. On the terrace at the entrance to the room there are tables and chairs where you can sit and relax. Each room also has a clothes dryer. At night, due to the close proximity of the walking street with a cafe, it is noisy until 3 in the morning, but the earplugs are a lifesaver - we fell asleep immediately and the sounds did not disturb us. Mosquitoes: There are none at Naama Inn. In another hotel (Amar Sina) it was a nightmare, the spray did not help, I had to buy local fumitox, until then I didn’t sleep half the night. There are no problems with this. WiFi: good, but as promised, it only works in common areas - by the pool. Swimming pool: clean. Tourists always rested in the pool area, because... WiFi is available there and they conducted online broadcasts during the World Cup in Qatar. Meals: we took breakfast and dinner. Dinners for 5+ - there was always soup, rice, potatoes, meat, fish, fresh vegetables and desserts. You can take supplements, including meat. There is no tea/coffee for dinner, but there is unlimited water in the cooler. Breakfast, of course, is not so luxurious, but also very good - porridge, potatoes, freshly prepared omelet, fresh and baked vegetables, pastries, juice, coffee and tea. Beach: Viva (for access you need to get a voucher at the reception, they provide towels) - 5 minutes on foot. Sun loungers, umbrellas and ottomans are freely available on the beach. The entrance to the water is sandy, no special shoes are needed. On the neighboring beach on the right there is a pontoon - there are a lot of fish there, including lionfish, very beautiful. And in general, you can freely walk along the entire bay along the shore. Location: excellent! You can go to the beach at any time, without being tied to transfers, as in other hotels. A few minutes away is a FIX PRICE MARKET supermarket with Russian-speaking staff, prices are almost the same as in other distant supermarkets. To the left of the entrance to the Naama Bay Hotel there is an ATM where you can exchange cash for cash Egyptian pounds. On the main road, city minibuses stop every half minute for 5 pounds (12.5 rubles) - you can directly get to Soho or the Old Town. Just tell me where you want to go and give me the money without change, I don’t ask for the fare. This way you can get to the airport on a budget - by minibus for 5 pounds you get to Peace Square (10 minutes), and there you can take a taxi 4 km to the airport for 40 pounds (3 minutes) - in total, for two people the trip to the airport is 50 pounds instead of 250 pounds by taxi from the hotel and it will take half an hour.

I made this trip alone with the fear of feeling a little lost... but as soon as I entered the hotel they immediately made me feel at home... as only they can do. Because despite the poverty that surrounds these countries, everything is designed for the well-being of the tourist. And even if the rooms are a little old and the dishes are basic, the kindness of the people who work here is unparalleled. Thanks I'll be back soon
