Shelby stay
House looks to be recently updated and was ok but was in a neighborhood that was "iffy" and did not feel safe. Over half the nearby homes were in poor condition and unkempt. Reported to owner that kitchen and bathrooms were not thoroughly cleaned.

Was a great place for me and my coworkers to stay while working out of town had everything we needed will stay again.

Terrible
Garbage can overflowing when we arrived, (outside ) The oven was filthy, kitchen sink leaked underneath cabinet, stained carpeting living room, toilet flush handle broke, toilet seat loose and broken, the counter Formica was broke and cut my arm. The house across the street from the rental property was not VRBO standard neighborhood. Very disappointing. Can I get compensated at all?

Wedding Weekend
We had a great time because of friends we were with. House was nicely updated and check-in/communication with host was great. However, the neighborhood is being revitalized and was extremely run down. Pics are great but very deceiving about area you are driving into.

Clean, well appointed, nice amenities, thoughtful additions.
It was a great stay. Paris is amazing and so fast to respond. She made sure everything was just right and more.
I didn’t enjoy the neighborhood but that’s a personal choice as I prefer quieter but again that’s a personal choice. There was nothing unsafe about the area it’s just right in the heart of the city where there’s a lot of activity and I didn’t pay attention to that so that’s on me.
Otherwise it’s a perfect place for an overnight or a full week stay like we did. We’re moving to the area so will likely be back again before the move.
Loved the welcome snacks provided and the games.

Home vs hotel
Very nice home for our family to stay. Better than a hotel. Private but can stll be together. Neighborhood was quiet and close to everything. Highly recommend.
