The hotel had a strange and almost eerie atmosphere — it felt very empty during my stay, which made it a bit unsettling at times. The building itself seems like it once had grandeur but now feels a little outdated and quiet.
That said, the staff were very friendly and welcoming, which helped make the experience more pleasant. The room was clean enough, and the amenities were average. It’s not a bad place if you’re just looking for a basic stay, but don’t expect anything lively or modern.
Probably better suited for solo travelers who don’t mind a quiet, low-key environment.

Highly recommend this hotel. For such an affordable price you’ll get an excellent service (I personally want to thank Mr Nelson, he really cares about the guests of the hotel , also speaks English), a super nice location , basically the city downtown, room with all the amenities , and even a bathtub.
The room itself I found to be super cute , designed in a very European/Early American style , that I like a lot . I’ll attach some photos. The hotel has no cigarette smell at all ! This is super rare for China lol.
If a downtown Shenzhen area place to rest is needed , book this hotel it’s really worth it.

Room very spacious and with open views. The best thing I love is that I can watch HK TV channel (Jade of TVB) in this hotlel. No moody smell, room air fresh and clean. Always my choice. There's an improvement or new service that guests can also choose to watch movies at a very low price.

I liked this room. It’s clean, quiet and comfortable. The hotel is located in a lovely area. There’re some malls and different restaurants.

Location very nearly grand theater and dong men commercial street，best performance select older brand hotel to stay here，so nearly mtr line 1 and line 9，walking few mins is connection！We are unforgettable trip and visiting！😀😀😀

I stayed in this hotel with my family and it was an alright experience. There was a problem with the air conditioner, and we notified the staff as soon as we realised. They were amicable, helpful and cooperative, and we resolved the matter without many difficulties. Another thing to note is that the locks for the washroom have some issues. You need to really kick the door for it to shut and it still might not lock. Other than that, the amenities were acceptable.
