Always a lovely experience here, so many happy memories ❤️ the few issues we had were solved within minutes as the staff really go out of their way to accommodate guests. The food was superb and the room beautiful. Although decor and fittings are slightly tired, it doesn't affect your enjoyment.

What a wonderful hotel from the staff to the location. Visited with the tour company and got a lot more than expected from grate food and amazing service from Connor and Alex during dinner to the welcome by the man at the beginning to the very comfortable bedrooms. Would definitely visit again and stay here at Busta House

Lovely comfortable hotel in a beautiful location. Comfortable beds, well appointed rooms and exceptional food. Great choice of whisky. Staff were amazing, friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, we could only stay for one night but can't wait to return.

This our 4th time staying for a weekend getaway and as usual didn't disapoint. We stayed in Nibon, one of the newly refurbished rooms which was warm, comfortable and modern. We had a 3 course meal in the restaurant as part of our stay package and the food was amazing, great service and lovely staff. After our meal we retired to Long Room and relaxed in the Chesterfield chairs whilst sampling the impressive selection of whisky in the display cabinet with a handy guide and price list to hand. Overall a fantastic place to escape and relax.

We chose Busta for our wedding anniversary celebration, and are delighted that we did. We were lucky enough to have one of their recently restored rooms, which was beautiful, with a huge, and very comfortable bed, a lovely bathroom and some extraordinary exposed stone work , from the 17th century? Our champagne was delicious, and you won’t find Lanson Black Label on many wine lists for £70. Food was all delicious, including a great breakfast. An extensive, and well chosen wine list at attractive prices. Service everywhere was friendly and charming. Thoroughly recommended.

I recently went working in Shetland for 8 days and choose the Busta hotel due to its reviews, some of the photos initially made me think it was possibly a dated place, but this was definitely not the case, it had bags of historical character and it really felt like a home from home. It was very clean and the service was excellent by all the staff, especially the two bar tenders. The food was varied and very nice, every meal was great. I would definitely stop again if i get the chance.

We went to busta house as no lodging in lerwick had great ratings and it did. We were not disappointed. The owner and crew were always very attentive. The food, not nouveau , was all flavourful, and plenty The best was they offered small portions so food was not wasted. The library was a delight to relax in. We had a room called Yell and was large and comfortable. The location worked well as most of the interesting hiking was northbof lerwick, so easy to drive too. On out last day we had to leave early for a flight and they made breakfast and hour early. We wish them luck in business

Staff were so friendly helpful and polite, especially the 3 men on duty the night we arrived having not wanted to stay at our booked hotel in Lerwick which looked awful! We were sorry none of them were around the morning that we left to thank them personally and say goodbye. We were so lucky they had a room for us. We had thought initially that it would be better to be in the middle of Lerwick, but we were so wrong, how much nicer it was to be in this beautiful setting. Could not fault the hotel at all.
