Tsukagoshiyashichibee

It's located on a steep slope. The sign is small so I couldn't find it and passed it by. The staff will move your car for you. However, I don't know where I parked it so I have to look for it a bit when I go back. There is a shuttle only to the stone steps. The driver guided us carefully so I felt like I was on a tourist bus. Since I applied for a cheap plan, I shared a room with other people for dinner. There is no music playing so it's fine when there are many people, but it was awkward when it was just us and one other group. The bath was smaller than I expected, which was disappointing.

I was very satisfied with everything from the phone call after booking, the shuttle service, the service of all the staff, the hot spring, the meals, and the room. The staff greeted me and smiled wherever I met them. At meals, they gave me detailed explanations and served my drinks quickly. The meals were delicious and I was impressed with the pleasant service and attitude of the staff. The hot spring was golden water for the indoor bath, the temperature was good and the heat retention was great, and the fact that the open-air bath was not a hot spring was just right. I was also impressed with the hot spring. There is no denying that the room and the inn itself are old, but it was clean, and although it was a smoking room, the room had a faint scent of incense (?) in the lobby and was spacious enough to be very satisfied. The room had a sunken kotatsu table and was warm when I entered, so I was able to spend a comfortable time in the room immediately after arriving. It was nice that there was a refrigerator and I could cool my own brought-in items. Whenever I come home from a trip I always think, "home is where I feel at ease," but this time I didn't feel that way at all. It was an inn where I felt "Tsukagoshiya Shichibei was a relaxing place, like home. I want to go again."
