Shijiazhuang Hotels with Gym

The room is clean, the service is warm, bottled water is placed at the elevator entrance for guests to access, and there is no limit on the amount. The hotel is generous. The breakfast is rich and tastes good. There are many people eating, and the dishes are replenished in time. The hotel has its own parking lot, and the security guards are enthusiastic and proactive in arranging parking spaces. Guests staying in the hotel during the Spring Festival have exclusive happy afternoon tea, and there is free 🍜 to eat when hungry at night. Dinner is eaten in the restaurant on the second floor, which can be purchased in group purchases. The taste and service are great. The hotel also arranges shuttle buses to pick up guests to Hebo and Zhengding Ancient City, and the service is meticulous and thoughtful. In short, the hotel is cost-effective and popular, and I will choose to stay next time.

Overall a great hotel, and we loved our room and the swimming pool (the changing rooms and showers are amazing!) but there were some issues. Our door cards constantly stopped working even though we told the staff every time we extended our booking. The gym was much too hot, almost too hot to work out in. The shower in the room was not hot enough and the water temperature fluctuated a lot. Breakfast was very disappointing; the breakfast room so freezing that a lot of people had to wear their coats to breakfast and a lot of the food was cold even at 7.30am. The service at breakfast was poor and there was little good western food. Undeniably the view is absolutely stunning though. The worst thing was the internet, which even for Chinese websites was extremely slow, and that more than anything else spoiled our stay.

Overall the experience was good but at check-in I was surprised at the line of questioning from the clerk. Why is the name of the local company I came to visit required during check-in? My visa is a resident visa so I was surprised at this line of questioning. Other than that I don’t have any complaints and quite enjoyed my stay.

It was my first time at the InterContinental Shijiazhuang. When checking in, I had to wait for a room. The duty manager Bliss, offered a compensation measure, which made the entire check-in process full of pleasant surprises.

The room is clean, the service is in place, the waiter Xiao Shang is warm and thoughtful, and the problems are handled in a timely manner. The location of the hotel is great, just opposite the Provincial Museum, it is very convenient to go to the museum. The donkey meat fire at Gao Jianmin Restaurant next to it is delicious.

The hotel is in a good location in the city center. There are two large shopping malls nearby, which is quite convenient for eating and shopping. There is also a museum nearby, which is only a few minutes' drive away. If you stay, you can park for free in the basement, which is quite good. The hotel's reservation depar**ent called in advance to arrange the room and sent fruit. The service is warm and considerate.

This hotel is fine, but to be honest, the check-in procedure for foreigners is way too long and intrusive. I've stayed at dozens of hotels in China and this is the first time I've been asked that many questions (COVID time included): What's the purpose of my stay, where do I live and work, what airline did I use to arrive in China (even though I have been living in China for almost three years) and what was the flight number, etc. This is not acceptable!

Good business hotel if you have business in the Shijiazhuang High Tech business Zone. The hotel serve only breakfast there is no provision for lunch or dinner. It is new and clean hotel only for business travellers. There is shopping mall just 10 metre away where you can go for quick Lunch or dinner.

Convenient parking, good location, the front desk attitude was also very good when checking in, but the hotel is a bit old and the layout is a bit unreasonable. Although the hotel has a refrigerator, it is full of paid soft drinks, which loses its meaning The other waiters in the hotel obviously lacked service awareness. They would not smile when they met us, and their tone was stiff when they asked questions. Although the executive courtesy was free, it was written that it ended at 10 o'clock. If we went up at 9 o'clock, there would be no coffee or tea. The breakfast was very rich. The only thing we were most dissatisfied with during this trip was checking out the next day. We thought that if we checked out and went to Hebo, the hotel could also clean up. Considering the hotel, we could obviously check out at 2 pm, but we parked our car at the hotel, and we didn't know about the parking card until other guests asked us. The waiter didn't tell us at all when we checked out. We were afraid that we would waste time if we didn't finish shopping, so we took the initiative to ask the front desk if we could park a little longer if we didn't come back at 2 o'clock. The girl at the front desk actually said that it was not possible, and the parking card was valid until 2 o'clock. When I confirmed again, I asked the security guard outside directly, but she didn't know and said it was not the same department. The security guard at the hotel entrance was very good and said it was okay and was very enthusiastic to show me the way. The girl at the front desk really brought shame to the hotel. After visiting the Hebo, I went to the hotel to buy bread and left the hotel at 2:40. I wondered what these 40 minutes would do to the hotel.
