Santosh ji was the best at zostel and ma'am as well they both were fabulous and I loved the stay. they will even help you in procuring cabs etc best best best

Convenient booking. Very clean room and bathroom. Located at a nice location, making things accessible but still quiet.

We stayed at zostel shillong for 3 days continuously and loved the vibe of the whole place. It's value for money and the manager mr. Santhosh was very supportive in arranging the cab facilities and also for the guidance. The bonfire was a great experience at the stay. Friendly and safe place for solo travelers, couples, groups. Families as well but kids are not allowed so please read the details before booking.

Location is good and peaceful, you might find difficulty in food if you have problem with pork. But if you’re ok with a little higher price you can try there own restaurant

This is specially for people booking female dorms with 2 beds. Zostel mentions that there is a shared attached washroom which as per user might mean, that it is supposed to be shared between two beds in a single dorm. But apparently they it means this is supposed to be shared in two rooms. My washroom has three doors. I was in the washroom and some one is trying to open the other door, without realising the same. This is so annoying. You book zostel for a good experience and this is what you get. The manager didn't tell this before taking the full payment. So there is no refund. After travelling I need to search for a hotel. Look at the three door in the below photo where is privacy here

They have a nice cafe and pretty decent amenities. What sets it apart is its staff. I was traveling solo and needed a shared cab to Guwahati. They helped me to meet the cab driver at the location. Nearby the location is Ward's lake and Polo Ground. I would be glad to come back again.
