Nestled amidst a mesmerizing location, this place offers an exceptional stay that feels like a perfect escape from the mundane. The food here is nothing short of awesome—deliciously prepared and served with care. The courteous staff goes above and beyond to make every guest feel special. A special mention to Rajesh ji, the leader of this incredible team, whose accommodating and kind nature ensures a memorable experience every time. We’ll truly miss the charming Taran (the Husky) and Maggi (the Labrador), who were the perfect companions for our kids during our stay. Their playful presence added a unique touch to our vacation. This was our 4th visit since 2015, and we can’t seem to get enough of this magical place. Wilderness, Kotgarh, is a hidden gem in the serene hills of Himachal Pradesh, offering breathtaking views of the Himalayas and the tranquility of lush apple orchards. My three-night stay was nothing short of magical, with impeccable hospitality, delicious home-style food made from fresh local ingredients, and warm, courteous staff who went above and beyond to ensure every need was met. The location is perfect for reconnecting with nature, and the services, from guided treks to personalized care, were outstanding. A perfect retreat for anyone seeking peace, beauty, and genuine hospitality!

This property is like a piece of heaven that is revisited on earth, mesmerizing food, very kind staff, the property is set on a very beautiful location, unlocking all the parts of nature, you can cycle wherever you want, giving you a chance to see the beautiful world of the mountains. If I were to rate this resort, i'd rate it 10 star. I am awestruck by its natural beauty, the silence in the absence of sound, the excellent service and homely staff, the number of activities one can indulge in. Take the day off on a different hiking trail every now and then, sit by the Tannijubbar lake and have your meal atop the hill, surround yourself with the local and colourful Gods at the Naagdevta temple and the various myths that surround it...get wildlife charms by the occasional sounds of the leopards in the distance or just lounge in the massive and luxurious hill view bedrooms which have been curated with hill views! A special shout out to the two lovely entertainers and souls of the property--- the husky Tanana and Maggi the lab!

It provides a dreamy heaven for all kinds of people, ranging from stargazers to enthusiastic photographers to simply those who like to lounge under the cedar trees. The wilderness slows time down, allowing you to reconnect with nature and yourself. Whether you’re sipping tea on the balcony, watching the sunset color the sky in brilliant hues of pink and orange, or listening to the gentle rustle of the wind blowing through leaves, every moment is a reminder of nature’s unparalleled beauty. In essence, The Wilderness is more than just a place to stay; it’s an experience that refreshes and restores your soul and always imparts you with a wish to return. A beautiful property with a very friendly and helpful staff. I would surely visit this heavenly place again.

A quaint peaceful place with lovely view. Rooms were comfortable & clean, bathrooms top quality. Manmohan, Meeth & Shishu were ever cheerful & ready to help. Food was very good. An excellent experience, worth the travel.
