Shirahama Mariner

I have my own board (V-BODY BOARDS SP-PRO VIIl 2024 model. I just replaced it for the first time in 7 years!), but I'm too lazy to carry it from home to Izu Shirahama, so I rented a bodyboard from a shop I've always had my eye on. After completing the procedures and paying, the bodyboard I was given was a "water float" that was only called a bodyboard, a mysterious, thin board cut into the shape of a bodyboard (lol). A large beat board would be better than this. That said, the board shop was confident that it was a bodyboard and was renting it out for 1,100 yen, so I wondered if I could ride it somehow, but I tried it out. The sea had a set of fairly sharp waves coming in every 15 minutes, and it was a wave that I could easily ride on my board. As a result, even if I dropped the nose, it just became a rounded U-shape and did not follow the face at all (lol). Not only was there no stringer, it was not polypropylene in the first place, it was a really thin water float, so it was like, of course it was impossible (lol). (I knew it before I rode it...) I wish I could make the board follow the face with my own weight as a fat guy, but I'm a slender and lightweight girl, so it's impossible (lol). My specs are that I've been diboarding since I was a child for 15 years, and I can turn and even do el rollos depending on the wave without any problems, but I couldn't ride this board at all. I don't want to ride it with this board either (lol). This shop is a dishonest shop that is trying to deceive people who are amateurs and don't understand bodyboarding at all, or who don't know anything about it. Don't rent a bodyboard from this shop and think, "Bodyboarding is boring." If you have a proper board, bodyboarding is a lot of fun even for beginners. It doesn't have to be a 50,000 to 60,000 yen board, you can have fun with a board that costs around 20,000 yen. If there's anyone who borrows from here and thinks, "I have no talent," that's definitely not the case, so try again with a proper board.
