Shirahama Hotels with Gym

The sea view room was great, very clean and tidy, beautiful and comfortable, private outdoor spring in the room, excellent for staying in the room. However, the meals were very disappointed that were unexpected to cost about US$600 for a night including dinner and breakfast for 2 adults and a kid. In particular, the foods for my kid were unacceptable for this price. The restaurant was not clean and the staff were not attentive. We booked the room through Trip.com and mentioned we have a 9 years old kid with us. The staff said they have no such record and required me to prove. Luckily I have the booking record in my App and showed them we did. Then, they said it should be the problem from Trip.com. And then, they said ok and would cost 25000 yen extra for my kid. I accepted, and then they said they could not provide an extra bed for my kid and reduced the cost to 20000 yen, and I also accepted. As a customer, I felt this was not attentive and not polite to request me to prove I had mentioned a kid for the booking. That’s all fine, but the quality and taste for the meals were really unacceptable at this price range, the breakfast was horrible. At last, my case wasn’t a communication problem because the staff who talked to us wasn’t a Japanese and was a native English speaker. Anyhow, the facilities and the room of this hotel were excellent, but the meals and services were not worth for this price.

The best resort I stayed in Japan, spacial thank you to the stuff at the front desk who had been super kind and helpful. The hot spring which overlooks the ocean is stunning, highly recommended!

This is the second time to stay, I chose to have a hot spring room so very large, very comfortable, facing the sea view of Bai Bin Beach, at dusk can still see the sunset, front desk staff is very polite, explain the hotel facilities very clear 𥇦, only this time can not go to the top floor to soak in the hot spring unfortunately, staff said because of too much wind will be closed, breakfast and dinner are average, most should be hot but cold, such as fried chicken, fish

Convenient location, close to the bus station, a few steps outside the door is Bailiangbin Beach, although the hotel has traces of history, but very clean, this time stayed in a room with enough soup, feels good

If I come to Shirahama alone next time, I will still choose this hostel. During the off-peak season, you are very likely to have a room for one person, and each room is divided into four single rooms, so you don't disturb each other. The key is that the location is just opposite Shirahama, and there is Marriott on the mountain next to it. Marriott is 1500, and here is 170. The hot spring ♨️ in the hostel is also very good, with a relatively high water temperature, which is super refreshing. For such a cheap price, there is also breakfast, which is very simple, with bread, eggs, and coffee. Take the Meiko bus 🚌 from Shirahama Station to S-16 or S-17 Mabiyu Station, and get off.
