The Gran Resort Elegante Shirahama

Take the Mingguang bus to Shin-Yuzaki Station and you can see it when you look up. Before coming here, I was worried about what other reviews said, "There is a slope that is difficult for large suitcases." In fact, it's okay. The slope is not long or steep, and it is completely acceptable. Check-in time is 4 o'clock. There was no one at the front desk before the time. I threw my suitcase and went out to play, and came back to check in at the appointed time. The front desk was a foreigner with a heavy accent, and the service attitude was impeccable. I lived in a Japanese-style room, and the ceiling light could not be turned on. I contacted the front desk for help and it came quickly. The switch for the ceiling light is on the TV cabinet! Not on the wall! It's really hard to find. Plus points: convenient public transportation, close to Zaki-no-Yu, beautiful sea view Minus points: You have to make your own futon, hot spring hotel but no yukata is provided (only one towel) Overall it's good, but it doesn't match the price, and the cost performance is not high. I chose this hotel because I wanted a hotel with "sea view + tatami + hot spring", and only this one met the requirements (there is another cheaper one, but there is no independent bathroom). After staying here, I felt that it would be better to pay more to enjoy better service, or give up one of them and find a cheaper one.

The hotel is in a good location, the breakfast food is suitable, the hot spring fitness facilities are sufficient, the staff is polite but speaks poor English, and the service attitude is good and enthusiastic. It is very convenient to walk to nearby attractions and dinner. The room is large and has a full sea view. The only criticism is that the preset temperature of the room is too high and very dry, and there is no control method in the room. The available solutions are to turn on the air freshener and dehumidification, and to open the terrace glass door before going to bed.

The location of the room is great. You can see the sea. The hot spring is also good. It can be reached by car. The breakfast is average. Most of the elderly people come to the hot spring. The price/performance ratio is relatively high. There are very few tourists.

We were given a room on the fourth floor first. The hot spring facilities downstairs were a bit noisy. The lady at the front desk did not speak English and used a translator to communicate with me. She took the trouble to show us other rooms and tried her best to satisfy us. The hot spring is also very good, and there is ice water to drink at the door. The sea view outside the window is also very good, and you can just see Shirahama Beach.
