The building quality is very neat and clean. The dinner course and breakfast buffet are amazing. The staff are very polite and helpful. There are a lot of family activities you can do here. The hotel located a little bit far from the village, but that's make the hotel environment very quiet and dedicated. If you insist to go to the village, you can ask the staff for a shuttle bus service. There is no private bathroom in my booked room. Maybe the hotel offered you only hot spring bathing (Onsen). The wifi is not that good when there are many guest in the hotel. If you ok with hot spring bathing, do not have any business in the village and do not require internet connection while living, this is very good hotel to stay and enjoy the Shirakawa-go vibe.

Dinner and breakfast were really great. The scrambled eggs were fantastic and the dinner course was reminiscent of fine dining. If I visit Shirakawago again, I will definitely come back here.
