Shoal Bay Holiday Park

We visit every year as a family. The sites we stay on are sheltered from the wind & noise of the Main Street. Noise curfew 10pm is great(not all abide though) and noise curfew in the morning till maybe 7:30 would be welcome. 6am people taking their port o loos on a trolley to the dump point, got all day to do it🤷🏼‍♀️ I had a small site with parking for camper van & awning(2 designated areas) solo travelling & still paid the full fee others pay to have 3 parking spots. Walk to shops & beach

Our large family group booked a range of accomodation for a long weekend pre-Christmas get together. The location is brilliant. Just across the street to Shoal Bay Beach. Several restaurants, takeaways and an IGA in the next block. The team at the front office reception were universally cheerful, helpful and lovely. The maintenance man we saw was busy keeping the place spotless, emptying bins, cleaning BBQs and even updating the painted markings on the road. When checking in you get a code for the car park and a colour coded map showing where everything is. Very well organised. It also includes an after hours phone number to call in the case of any issues including noise. We had no noise issue but we were comforted by this approach. One day our toilet started leaking. It was fixed within an hour or two. One person had a broken fridge and almost immediately a replacement fridge was brought in on a trolley. You don’t get this level of service in a 5 star hotel! We had a one bedroom cabin. Just fabulous. Light and spacious. Air con was so quiet and kept up even on the hottest day. Plenty of PowerPoints. Several of our family had safari tents. The safari tents are located surrounding a spacious open area with 2 BBQs and lots of picnic benches. Ideal for our family get together. They were really nice with a simpler kitchen and bathroom and no aircon. (The maintenance man was driving around offering people extra fans! How good is that!) All up we were really impressed and couldn’t fault a thing. This could be our new family get together place. Highly recommended.

Wonderful location right opposite Shoal Bay beach. Close to restaurants, pub, shops. Clean, well maintained grounds. We had 2 nights in a Standard 2 bedroom cabin. Modern, Well laid out with a full stove. Bathroom is on the small side but functional. No dishwasher powder or dish cloth supplied but once raised with reception problem was sorted. Faulty kettle caused power issues twice but an easy fix both times. 10pm noise curfew in place but a noisy party was still going strong after midnight. Raised with reception the next morning. Would stay again.

Great caravan park with amazing, clean amenities, right across the road to the beach and walking distance to fabulous restaurants. Good size sites (we have a 22ft caravan) our friends had an en-suite site, which was amazing also. Friendly staff

A lovely holiday park opposite the beach. Lovely friendly staff who go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. The ensuite site was perfectly clean as was our site. Great care is obviously taken with the park surrounds. Opposite a flat water beach and within walking distance of shops and restaurants. Definitely recommend and will return.

Perfect location right across from Shoal bays stunning beach. Quick walk to restaurants in Shoal Bay including the Country Club where we had a nice meal. Park was busy but quiet, we stayed outside of school holidays. Amenities are excellent, new, clean, fantastic showers.
