Great stay

This stay was mediocre at best. I was recognized a marriott rewards member by the front desk attendant and she was accommodating. However, I was put in ADA instead of being offered an upgrade, weird but ok, the curtains has stains on them, the room temperature was hot and had a faint stale odor. Far from my best experience with courtyard but not the worst

Coffee in room is awful but this is the norm for Hotels in general. Having said that you should not have to crawl under table to plug it in. Staff should know what the Hotel has to offer without looking for someone for an answer. Rooms should not smell musty.

This was one of the worst stays I’ve ever experienced at a Marriott property! The lack of cleanliness is that of a shady motel (see pictures). The place is filthy, and I literally slept in the chair vs sleeping in the bed (see pictures). I would have slept in the car if I knew the area better, and thought it to be safe. It appears the lobby had a refresh at some point, but the guest floors/ guest rooms haven’t been touched since the 80’s (see pictures). The wall to wall carpet is gross with all types of mysterious large stains, outside and inside the rooms. The furniture, the walls, doors are all smudged with greasy hand prints and other unsanitary spills from previous guests that have never been cleaned (see pictures). Marriott brand has been my preferred brand for more than 10 yrs, but after several bad experiences (this being the worst) I’m now keeping my options open and considering another brand that has more consistency for business travelers!

The front desk staff found a room for me, which after I found out a convention was in town, was a great thing. Unfortunately it seemed like I was disturbing her rather than making me seem invited. Room was ok, but the AC never turned off, which made it hard to sleep. Did not kow that Courtyard was the only division of Marriott that didn't serve breakfast, which was disappointing. Overall yes I got sleep but it cost.
