Hotel Mimosa

Just back from 11 night stay. Breakfast, good selection but hot food could be hotter. Lovely, friendly, helpful staff. Rooms basic but clean. Tip!! Ask for room at the back as the front sea view rooms face out onto Babylon Karaoke Bar, still belting them out at 3am nightly. Otherwise great location between the ***** and Canal D'Amour. The only real drawback is the shower cubicles. Corner opening to a gap of, perhaps 15 inches so a bit of squeeze for the fuller figure lady or gentleman. Every time I went in it I worried that the Fire Brigade would have to come and cut me out!! Initially was going to re-book for next year but the practical issue with the showers meant that ultimately we've booked elsewhere with a roomier bathroom and shower.

Currently staying here on a solo trip, and from the second I walked through the doors I was made to feel welcome by the wonderful staff team. The hotel is clean and modern, plenty of sun loungers, as well as nice seating outdoors around the hotel grounds in, the pool is well maintained. I stayed half board and the food is fantastic, I wasn’t expecting to be able to pick food from a 3 course menu for the evening meal, the food was delicious and well presented and the waiting staff wonderful. Breakfast is varied and tasty. The location is fantastic a literal stones throw away from the beach with clear warm water, and a short walk to the beautiful Canal d’ Amour. And plenty of bars and restaurants near by. The hotel bar is reasonably priced with Mythos on tap, a snack menu, and a good selection of ice creams as well as scooped ice cream. Reception staff are fantastic and really made me feel safe and welcome. I will definitely be returning with my children! Thank you for having me.

This hotel was brilliant very well organised and such helpful staff. Everybody was friendly. Yes you will read the shower is small but I’m not a thin person nor is my husband but we managed to use it daily just try not to drop the soap. Certainly better than one we have had in a higher star hotel on Santorini. Rooms are basic but clean-beds were comfy and yes you need to bring your own cups if you want hot drinks (paper ones are supplied) the rooms have a fridge, always a bonus, but we didn’t spend much time inside other than sleep and wash so perfectly adequate We emailed and requested a low room due to mobility issues and we were given one at the front with a sea view. The breakfast is brilliant it says buffet and it certainly is. There is so much choice nobody should leave hungry. we didn’t need lunch most days. Can’t tell you about evening meal as we like to try different places so only went B&B. Perfectly placed at the end of the main ***** and opposite the beach. Can’t comment on the sun beds and pool as not something we used. But plenty of seats and tables around the bar area. It’s no wonder most of the guests we spoke with return regularly. So good we booked to go back when they open up May 25. Thank you to all the staff

Myself and a friend have just returned from a stay here, the staff are so friendly and helpful can't do enough for you,the rooms have everything you want food is a good variety (breakfast) and hotel is central to everything will definitely return here thank you

Disappointed with hotel tbh rooms ok and fresh cleaned every day however food not up to much . Stayed bed breakfast and evening meal but ate out elsewhere most days. Breakfast passable but evening meal really not up to scratch . Lamb Kleftico which I love and looked forward to was 2 slices of lamb on top of boiled potatoes 😂 . Also pre requested double bed ground floor room but got neither . I would stay at hotel again due to its fabulous location but would want room in main block and go self catering

Great reception area and very friendly staff. This was our 2nd time stopping at Mimosa and we were remembered by Tracey from two yrs ago. Our room was on the front of the hotel with a fantastic view of the sea. The beds were really, really comfortable and although there was only 1 pillow on the bed there were spares in the wardrobe. Was cleaned every day and bedding changed every other day. All the staff members we met were so friendly and accommodating. Well worth the stay and see you all real soon Pete and Lesley
